5 questions to ask before getting anti-wrinkle injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are officially Australia’s most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure. In fact, nearly 33,000 injections are administered each year.
Yet despite the popularity of these treatments, 71 per cent of injectable users didn’t actually know or were unsure about which product they had received.
You should ask the right questions to ensure you find a qualified doctor experienced in injection techniques. And in order to have an educated conversation with your doctor, you should research before your treatment session.
Dr Joseph Ajaka, a leading Sydney cosmetic surgeon, encourages all patients to explore their options and ask specific questions to help ensure they’re happy post-treatment. “The most important thing a patient can do is come in prepared and ask the right questions before, during and after their treatment.”
5 QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK BEFORE GETTING ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
#1. Which brand does your doctor use and why?
#2. Has the anti-wrinkle treatment been extensively tested and researched?
#3. How quickly will you see the effects of the injection and how long will these results last?
#4. Do the side effects of anti-wrinkle injections differ between brands?
#5. Are your doctor’s other patients satisfied with their results?
Why are these five questions so important? Let’s allow Dr Joseph Ajaka to explain…

“Patients who are the most satisfied with their treatment are the ones who are informed, are asking the right questions and are ensuring the anti-wrinkle injection they’ve requested is indeed what they are receiving,” adds Dr Ajaka.

I've been getting Botox to help reduce the frequency and intensity of my migraines. As it wasn't for a cosmetic reason I kind of forgot before my first treatment that it would also smooth my wrinkles! I was just looking for some way to stop the migraines after many other failed therapies. Thankfully it is working AND I also have a wrinkle free forehead!!!!
