Celebrities who have had nose jobs

What do Cameron Diaz, Iggy Azalea and Kaley Cuoco all have in common? They’ve all confessed to getting a nose job. While it isn’t uncommon for media to speculate which stars have had surgery to make some improvements to their features, it is less common for the stars themselves to admit it.

Then there are those who fall into the did they or didn’t they category. We’ll take you through the list of those who’ve opened up about their rhinoplasty and those who deny it.

Cameron Diaz

The actress and author of The Longevity Book, had rhinoplasty following a 2003 surfing accident. After much speculation she said at the time, “It’s not cosmetic — it’s purely medical.” While her nose job may have been for medical reasons, she did go on to reveal in her self-help book that she has tried botox, fillers, lasers and creams to help fight signs of ageing. She went on to say that she won’t touch botox again after it changed her face “in such a weird way”.

Jennifer Grey

Jennifer Grey is best known for her role as Baby in the iconic 1987 film Dirty Dancing.  The then 27-year-old shot to fame alongside her costar Patrick Swazye. Unfortunately she decided to have a nose job shortly after, which left her basically unrecognisable.  She went on to blame the nose job for ending her career in film. Speaking about the operation in an interview with The Mirror Jennifer said, “I went into the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous.”

Iggy Azalea

The Australian rapper isn’t shy about revealing the work she’s had done; including breast augmentation and rhinoplasty. Azalea has chosen to publicly own it, telling E!, “I’d feel better not to have some secret … It’s much freer to say it and then you don’t have to worry someone will dig it up.” Her plastic surgeon, Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, shared with People that he focused on changing the tip of her nose. “The tip was very twisted and very wide and boxy, so I had to do a lot of tip shaping to narrow and refine her tip without it looking done. She had a tiny hump that I reduced, and also she was very deviated and had blockage for breathing.”

Kaley Cuoco

The star of The Big Bang Theory isn’t afraid to reveal she has gone under the knife more than once. In an interview with People, Cuoco said, “Years ago, I had my nose done. And my boobs — best thing I ever did. Recently I had a filler in a line in my neck I’ve had since I was 12.” As much as she thinks it is important to love your inner self, she also wants to feel good in her skin. “I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”

Dianna Agron

In an interview with David Letterman, the Glee star revealed she had some very subtle work done on her nose after a couple of clumsy incidents left her with a broken nose – twice. Once at a high school party when she was accidentally punched in the face and then again during a Glee concert tour when she collided with someone on the dancefloor. “I must be turning too quickly – people don’t see me coming or something like that, I don’t know – but it’s fixed now!”

Tyra Banks

The supermodel and host of America’s Next Top Model has said she feels she has a “responsibility to tell the truth” about her plastic surgery. In an interview with People she said, “I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching. I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery. I admit it!” She also refuses to feel bad about it. “[I get] really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves.”

Lisa Kudrow

The Friends star (aka Phoebe Buffay) said her nose job was “life altering”. The then 16-year-old Kudrow was desperate to change her appearance in high school, revealing to The Saturday Evening Post, “ I went from, in my mind, hideous, to not hideous. I did it the summer before going to a new high school. So there were plenty of people who wouldn’t know how hideous I looked before. That was a good, good, good change.”

Courtney Love

Courtney Love credits the nose job she had as a 20-year-old for changing the trajectory of her career. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in 2014 she said, “Let’s just be real, I had a really big nose, and the schnoz was not taking me anywhere. I got my nose fixed … in six months, the whole world changed.”

Ashley Tisdale

The High School Musical actress revealed she had undergone a rhinoplasty back in 2007 but made it clear it had nothing to do with a dislike for the way her nose looked. “I didn’t do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose,” said Tisdale in an interview with People.

Heidi Montag

The Colorado native shot to fame in the reality TV series The Hills, but it was her plastic surgery transformation that she is remembered for. Not only did she get a nose job, she also got breast implants, fat injections in her face and pinned-back ears. But she has vowed to never go under the knife again. In an interview with ET she said that while she doesn’t regret it, “I certainly wouldn’t do it again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it and I have learned a lot from it and I just want to move forward in a positive way.”

Ashlee Simpson

The singer’s father originally spilled the beans on his daughter’s rhinoplasty back in 2006, when he told Fox News, “Girls have their own ideas. Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured.” When asked by Us if she did in fact get a nose job, Simpson replied, “As long as people have two eyes, you probably know the answer.”

Blake Lively

Photos of the actress from early in her career are constantly circling the web alongside comparison photos and stories that claim Lively has had a subtle but definite nose job. The Gossip Girl star’s rep released a statement that said, “[It is] 100 percent not true.”

Bella Hadid

The model has shutdown rumours she’s had plastic surgery in an interview with InStyle US. The 21-year-old admits that she once had insecurities about the way she looked, “I thought I had such a weird face. I remember very distinctly getting bullied because of my features.” But she has since learned to overcome them and said her nose is completely her own. “People think I got all this surgery or did this or that. And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling. I’m scared of putting fillers into my lips. I wouldn’t want to mess up my face.”

  1. I remember Heidi Montag before she got surgery and she was SO gorgeous, I would have killed to look like her. Reconstructing her whole face was a huge 'wtf' moment for everyone.

  2. I once told my hubby I would get a nose job if we won lotto, he said "you would look weird with another nose, it suits your face" and he was right, so I finally accepted that my nose is meant to look this way, I embraced it and got it pierced. I have learnt to live with it.
