Sundays are amazing for many reasons. Sleep-ins, bacon and egg feasts, Friends reruns and a whole lot of doing nothing… ahh, bliss.
Speaking of relaxing, we think Sundays are the perfect time to preen your entire bod for the week ahead. Yep, we mean the whole shebang – lock the door, light a candle and allow yourself an hour for a DIY pamper session.
We’ve done all the hard yards and created a once-a-week beauty routine, so by the time this Sunday rolls around, you’ll be equipped with the tools and tricks you need to get yourself feeling clean, perfectly primped, and ready to kick goals all week long. And hey, even if you have a bad week, at least you’ll be looking damn fine!
STEP 1: TREAT YOUR MANE TO A MASK
Heat styling and overloading on product wreaks havoc on your mane, which can result in dehydrated, weak and lifeless locks. Specifically targeted at restoring your hair’s health, a weekly mask literally soaks up the hydrating and revitalising ingredients it needs. After shampooing and conditioning your hair, smooth the mask through from mid-lengths to ends, and leave it in for around 10 minutes.

STEP 2: SCRUB AWAY
While your hair soaks up the hair mask, get your whole body polished and flake-free with a top-to-toe scrub. To make the most of your scrub session, turn the heat up in your shower so it’s nice and steamy – the steam will open up your pores and allow your exfoliator to work that little bit deeper. Gently massage a pea-sized amount of face scrub into your face using circular motions, then rinse. Follow up by giving your whole body the once-over with a body scrub.

STEP 3: NIX YOUR BODY HAIR
Now that you’ve sloughed the dead skin cells and scaly bits off the skin, you’re ready to de-fuzz. Ready-to-use wax strips make hair removal super easy as they pull out even the shortest and most stubborn hairs, and can be cut to size to wax the trickiest of areas. If you want to remove hair from your face, apply a hair removal cream to your fuzzy spots, then while that’s working its magic, wax your legs then work your way up to your bikini line and underarms.

STEP 4: GET GLOWING
After rinsing off your hair removal cream, give your skin a deep clean and inject it with some skin-loving natural oils and hydration with the help of a purifying mask. Rinse your face with warm water to open your pores, and then smooth a thin layer of the mask over your entire face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave the mask on for the recommended amount of time, and then wipe it off with a warm washcloth to reveal a revived and renewed complexion. Finish by applying a brightening serum and a hydrating moisturiser for added nourishment.

STEP 5: LACQUER UP YOUR NAILS
Now that your hair, skin and body are looking and feeling seriously pampered, it’s time to add a splash of colour with an express DIY mani and pedi. Gently push back the cuticles on your fingers and toenails using a wooden orange stick, then trim, file and buff your nails. Apply a base coat followed by your favourite shade of polish, and then finish with a topcoat. To speed up the drying process, set your handiwork with some quick dry drops.
