Yep, it’s true, the entire bh crew is heading south for a weekend full of beauty and bonding. It’s our second trip this year, and if I learnt anything last time we headed away from home, it’s that no overnight bag I own is big enough to fit in every one of my beauty essentials.
This means, unfortunately, that I have to play favourites with my fragrances – which I hate (it’s like a mother choosing a favourite child!). So I said sayonara to my Sensuous Estee Lauder scent, and opted for my handbag-friendly L’Occitane Bergamot Tea Solid Perfume instead, which luckily, I also love loads!
Before leaving my beloved NIVEA Body Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser at home I contemplated only taking one pair of shoes (fluffy slippers in fact), but decided I did need proper shoes after all, and took solace in the fact that although I’ll be NIVEAless my Pure Fiji Travel Bag, full of fruity body miniatures will care for my skin and double as effective bargaining tools for the other beautyheaven girls.
I was elated at the fact that I finally had an excuse to break out my super-cute Burt’s Bees Travel Shower Kit, complete with hair goodies, body gels and lip gloss, even though it did mean I had to sacrifice my sweet-smelling Yes to Cucumbers Color Care Daily Makeover Shampoo and Conditioner – they’ll just have to wait until I get home on Sunday!
