We review: Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser

Sometimes you have to feel for me. As you know by now, I like to chat. A lot. So you can imagine how hard it is for me when, months in advance of the actual release date, I get invited to trial a product – fall head over heels in love with it, and then have to keep my mouth buttoned shut for what feels like forever beforewe can chat about it together. Sigh.

That’s pretty much what happened as soon as we entered the Pink Salt restaurant in Double Bay many moons ago and were invited to trial the latest skincare wonder from Neutrogena, the Wave Power Cleanser. All of us beauty gals were hooked, for it’s always a thrill when you get a product that is fun, actually works and looks pretty all for under $20.

See the Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser uses gentle vibrations to open pores so that you get a deeper clean. As opposed to your traditional cleanser, the gentle vibrations help the tingly foam cleanser to penetrate deeper (up to 10 times deeper in actual fact) into your skin. Thus making removing dirt, oil, make-up and anything else you’ve collected that day a cinch, we’re talking like, a *trillion times easier.

It has softly textured pads that work to gently sweep away dead skin cells from the surface of your skin so it’s one of those multi-tasking wonders that I just can’t get enough of. It’s also that gentle that you can use it daily. But the best bit? After just one – not ten, but one – use, my skin felt softer and smoother. And with refills priced modestly at $13.99, I’m all set to make this a long-lasting cleanser love.

What’s your cleansing ritual? Do you do it morning and night, followed by serums, moisturiser – the lot? Or are you a mix and match (face wipes for nights out) kinda gal?
