4 skin care essentials for your next travelling adventure

Going on a holiday but not sure which skin care essentials to pack? When it comes to travelling it’s all about streamlining your beauty kit. You need to make your skin care routine work smart, not hard. So to avoid extra baggage charges but still retain a glowing complexion, we name the top four skin care essentials for travelling.
1 Face cleansing wipes
Wipes are a no-brainer when it comes to a fail-safe travelling essential. They’re great for removing makeup and cleansing your skin when you don’t have easy access to water, and will also help to keep your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated on long-haul flights. Enriched with safflower oil and vitamin E, - QV Face Cleansing Wipes are a must-have for any travel kit. Not only are they great for banishing eye makeup or sunscreen after a day on the slopes or beach, but they’re also pH-balanced, and dermatologically and opthalmolgically tested, making them suitable for sensitive skin.
Extra-use travel tip: Travelling with your family? These wipes can help you to quickly get out of a sticky situation. Use them to clean up chocolate covered fingers, food-covered faces, or a spilled drink.
2 Lip balm
No matter what adventure you’re heading off to, your lips should take top priority in the beauty stakes. The skin on the lips is thinner than the skin on the rest of the face, so it’s important you protect them from the effects of the environment you’re in. If your lips are super dry to start with, exfoliate them first using your toothbrush or a face washer, then re-apply your lip balm. QV Face Lip Balm is specifically formulated to help protect and soothe dry, chapped or sensitive lips and contains SPF 30+ making it perfect for summer vacays or a trip to the slopes.
Extra-use travel tip: Being the ultimate multi-purpose beauty product, lip balm is definitely a must-have for travelling. Not only can it help banish dry patches on your body including your heels and elbows, but it can be applied to cuticles to keep them nourished and healthy too.
3 Hydration booster
Whether you’re heading to a different hemisphere and changing climates entirely, or are simply spending more time in heated or air-conditioned environments, it’s important to keep your skin soothed and hydrated. QV Face Rescue Gel is formulated with a purified colloidal oatmeal extract to help calm and soothes sensitive and red skin. Apply it every few hours on a long-haul flight to keep your skin radiant, or use it as a serum, alone or under your makeup.
Extra-use travel tip: Spent time out in the sun? Your skin could do with some extra TLC, and since QV Face Rescue Gel is formulated with ingredients to help reduce the discomfort of sensitive skin, it can help to ‘take the heat off’ by reducing irritation and redness.
4 Skin protecting day cream
Two of the biggest challenges when travelling are keeping your skin at optimal condition in differing environmental conditions and climates, and helping to protect it from the sun’s UV. To avoid having to pack a multitude of serums, masks and moisturisers, pick one day cream that ticks all the boxes, like QV Face Moisturising Day Cream, SPF 30. Its lightweight formula contains moisturising ingredients to help keep your skin hydrated during the day. Plus it’s also SPF30 to help protect against the sun’s UV rays while you’re out and about.
We love that the QV Face Moisturising Day Cream has a non-greasy formula so it’s won’t ruin a good selfie and is ideal to use under your make-up.
Extra-use travel tip: If you’re not hitting the beach but are still heading to a warmer climate, use this cream to hydrate and protect areas of exposed skin, such as your decolletage, arms and hands.
Now all you have to do is grab your passport, bikini or ski suit and have a great time!
Happy travelling!

I always take my mini travel products with me when I travel. So I have a full kit of skincare and make up I can utilise. I feel that it’s also handy to have a few face and eye masks inflight.

Lip balm, don't leave home without it! I like the Burt's bees one the best. Stays on well and hydrates lips, but a good price and eco friendly.

I always take lip balm on the plane as the airconditioning is so dehydrating.

I LOVE the QV gentle body wash, gentle face cleanser and body lotion with the ceramides. I also swear by the Sunsense invisible mineral sunscreen too. I will try the QV lip balm too. These no fuss products but have the best ingredients and just get the job done.

My essentials are lip balm and hand cream - I can do without lip balm but not hand cream. When you have a good one handy you can use if almost for anything, including as lip balm or ointment.

All of these sound great. I'd like to try the QV Rescue Gel. Wipes are good when camping and I wouldn't be without lipbalm, travelling or not.

I make sure I have all those products plus I also take a facial spray such as Mario Badescu to use on the plane or during summer holidays to keep my skin hydrated. It's so easy to spritz on a bit of hydration for a lovely cooling effect.

My skin hates air travel, so a heavy moisturiser is vital and a lip balm to keep my chapped lips at bay are my must haves
