Not only are rose facial mists a nice and refreshing pick-me-up, but a spritz can help your skin feel less dull, dry, dehydrated and irritated. So they’re the perfect companion to take on a flight or have in your gym bag, handbag or office drawer.

Try one of these eight rose facial mists to give your skin the boost it deserves (and probably so desperately needs)…

Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater

$9, mecca.com.au

We say: this cult-favourite facial spray is gentle and non-irritating. It can be used as a boost for dry hair, tight skin and can also set your makeup!

La Mav® Rose Hydrating Mist

You say: “I’ve been using this Australian-made, non-alcoholic facial mist on & off for around 2-3 years now & despite trying other facial mists, I come back to this every single time. Whilst most people might not think of a facial mist as a skincare essential, it is for me because of my sensitive/combo/dehydrated skin. It really hydrates my skin as opposed to other facial mists I’ve tried.” – beautyheaven member Seashells

KORA Organics Balancing Rose Mist

We say: Miranda Kerr uses her KORA Organics Balancing Rose Mist as a toner after cleansing and to refresh her skin throughout the day. It’s vegan and free of sulphates, parabens, synthetic fragrances and synthetic colours. Certified organic rose, noni, aloe and hibiscus work to support the skin’s collagen production and provide antioxidant protection. Plus, it’s energised by rose quartz!

Kosmea Hydrating Rosewater Mist

You say: “I initially bought this product for a long haul flight along with a few other Kosmea Organics essentials. It does exactly what it promotes, continuous hydration, smells divine, soothing and extremely refreshing on a warm day. I give this gorgeous mist five stars. Best rosewater mist/water I have ever tried.” – beautyheaven member jannybeaujan

ModelCo Replenishing Rose Mist

We say: all skin types (even oily!) can use this replenishing and fast-absorbing rose mist. Softer and smoother skin is achievable thanks to the combination of acai fruit oil, pomegranate extract and rose damask. It can also help to control and balance sebum production!

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist

You say: “I sprayed a couple of pumps of the superfine spray mist over my face and wow, it was pure heaven. I was wrapped in a scent of rose petals and marshmallows. Not sickly sweet but just a perfect light balance of the two scents. It is instantly refreshing to the skin and provides an element of hydration as well. It is non-irritating to my skin and actually calms my skin when my skin is hot and flustered.” – beautyheaven member lynx

Botani Soothing Facial mist

We say: Botani’s soothing facial mist is a great handbag essential. It’s natural, alcohol-free and ideal for toning and soothing sensitive or tired skin. You can also use it to set makeup.

Planet Eve Organics Rose Hydration Mist

You say:The hydration mist is very refreshing, especially on a hot day. I have found it so good to us when flying as a way to combat the dehydrating effects of the recycled air. The scent is lovely. I love the gorgeous glass bottle as it has a touch of luxury about it. This would make a wonderful gift for someone.” – beautyheaven member JaneyPooh

Natio Refreshing Face Mist

We say: this purse-sized mist is crisp, gentle and alcohol-free. The rose helps calm and hydrate the skin, while aloe vera and cucumber have a soothing and refreshing effect. Your skin’s natural pH balance is also maintained thanks to flower and plant extracts.

  1. I haven't tried any of these except the mario badescu. And omg I love it, its so refreshing and smells so great. I'm not too sure that it sets the makeup and gives it much of anything. But it does definitely give it a tad little glow when I spritz after I apply my makeup its just nice and refreshing to have in the bag and smells sooooo good
