Dinner date with Cate

Dinner date with Cate

It’s not often you get to have dinner with a celebrity like Cate Blanchett (ok, ok, I’m being modest – I do it ALL the time. Hollywood’s hottest A-listers are totally on my speed dial). Not.

So you can imagine my extreme excitement when I was invited by SK-II to have dinner at Sydney’s Tetsuyas, with none other than Cate Blanchett (who floated around the room throughout the night and actually sat right next to me during two of the 12-courses!)

She was in town celebrating 10 years as ambassador for SK-II, and earlier in the day had cut the ribbon to officially open the new SK-II Pitera Discovery Exhibit, which is located on Sydney’s King Street (next to Hugo Boss). The exhibit is open to the public from today (Wednesday 27th July) until Sunday 31st July and will take you through the journey of Pitera, the ‘miracle’ ingredient found only in SK-II products, as well as give you the opportunity to have a complimentary skin consultation from one of SK-II’s highly trained beauty consultants. Plus, if you’re quick, you can also book in for a 30 minute SK-II facial!

And trust me beauties, after staring into Cate’s glowing, near-perfect complexion (keeping in mind that she’s in her 40s!), you’re going to want to get in on the SK-II action. And now really couldn’t be a better time to try it, because the brand is currently offering a Pitera Essence Kit (complete with Facial Treatment Essence, Facial Treatment Clear Lotion, and Facial Treatment Mask) for only $99! Click here for more information.

If you could sit next to any celebrity at a dinner, who would it be and what would you ask them?
