9 Rose-Infused Beauty Products To Indulge In This Valentine’s Day

While Cupid (the naked flying baby holding a bow and arrow) might well be the most iconic Valentine’s Day symbol, a rose is certainly a close second. A red rose represents love, passion and beauty, making it one of the world’s most romantic flowers. However, as it turns out, roses  also host a plethora of skin care benefits. From skin-soothing anti-inflammatory properties to breakout-busting antiseptic qualities, these powerful flowers have the ability to nourish your skin and nurture your heart all in one go. Impressive stuff.

So whether you’re heading out on a hot date or spending the night at home, just because you mightn’t be receiving a bouquet of long stem red roses to your door this year, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on some V-Day roses altogether.

From rose-infused face oils to floral perfumes, our favourite rose-scented and infused beauty products are here to make your February 14th extra special this year.

#1 Skin O2 Multi-Purpose Rose Oil Serum

If the floral scent alone isn’t enough to draw you in, SKIN O2’s rose flower oil uses vitamin A, E and zinc to protect and strengthen lacklustre hair, skin and nails.

To create Oil Garden’s hydrating toner, fresh rose petals are distilled in order to extract pure rose essential oil. Suitable for all skin types, but particularly beneficial for those with dry skin, we recommend spritzing post-cleanse or keeping one handy at your desk for a midday hydration hit.

“It smells amazing, and it’s instantly hydrating. It goes on the face fine, and it air dries quite quickly. It doesn’t leave a residue on my skin like some other mists, nor does it make my face feel tight when it dries.” – Scarlet

  1. I love the smell of a real scented rose, it’s so beautiful, but put the “rose scent” into beauty products and perfumes and it’s awful for me. The scent those goes into beauty products makes me feel nauseous and gives me a headache.
The rose quartz mask is a really good soothing product.

  2. I swear by the effects of the Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Nighttime Rescue Lip Oil-Serum for my dry and chapped lips, but to be honest I’ve never noticed the rose smell
