Expert Trial Team: new season must-haves

ModelCo Bronze Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF50+

bh’s Cherie says…
“I’ve got exceptionally fair skin, and this means two things: 1. I’m in a constant battle with the sun in an attempt to prevent sunburn, and 2. I’m always on the hunt for a natural-looking instant bronzer that I can apply easily and quickly whenever the sun decides to shine. This ingenious product allows me to tick off both of these boxes – it provides super-high UVA and UVB protection and gives my skin a shimmery sun-kissed finish. I’m most obsessed with the smell, though. This bronzing sunscreen has a unique citrus scent, which leaves your skin smelling utterly delectable.”
Ultraceuticals Complete Correction Cream Mineral Tint

bh’s Carli says…
“After hearing about the benefits of this new CC Cream, I couldn't wait to try out it. I was particularly intrigued by the SPF 30 protection and the high-coverage promise. I applied the cream with a foundation brush - I just find that this helps me to spread the product easily and evenly - and followed it with a dusting of the Complete Correction Powder. I was really impressed by the coverage, though I did need to do two layers to ensure all my spots were covered. Throughout the day I found that the CC Cream stayed put and I didn't have to reapply at any point. I also didn't suffer the dreaded shiny T-zone late in the afternoon. Besides being pretty pleased with the coverage, I was happy to find that my complexion looked more even with all signs of the redness on my cheeks completely hidden. I was also happy that my skin looked a little more glowy and radiant. I've only be using the product for about a week, so I can't report on the anti-ageing benefits just yet, but I'll be sure to come back in a few weeks and fill you in!”
Yankee Candle in November Rain

bh’s Olivia says…
"Moving in with a boy can be daunting for all involved - and when I took the plunge a few months ago, I was careful not to scare him off with too much pink and too many ultra girly products. That meant my super fruity candles weren't all that welcome in our new home. It wasn't until I clapped erm... nostrils on this beautiful blue offering from Yankee Candle that I realised I could have my cake and eat it too, so to speak. The November Rain scent is supremely fresh and totally acceptable in the boy's book, which is handy because I've fallen a little head over heels for this fresh, lingering scent. It isn't cold or reminiscent of a soggy, wet odour, instead it fills our entire home with a clean, fresh smell that really does have a bold, crisp undertone. It's a lovely addition to our home and I can safely say it's a crowd pleaser, everyone asks why our whole house smells so good!"
Le Tan Wash Off Bronze

bh’s Sam says…
“The world can be split into two categories: those who don’t mind the smell of fake tan and those who turn their nose up at it. Unfortunately for me, my boyfriend is the latter and will refuse to go anywhere near me while I wait for it to dry and develop. So a tan that dries in just one minute is the perfect solution. I was able to apply the Le Tan Wash Off straight after a shower, leaving it to dry while I applied my make-up and by the time I was ready to put on my dress for a night out, it was bone dry. It gave my skin a nice natural colour and I was so happy and relieved that it hadn’t stained my dress. Once I got home, it washed off easily using body wash and warm water, so I was able to hop into bed with my boyfriend being none the wiser. The only down side to the tan is I found it difficult to spray the back of my legs, so it’s best to have somebody else do it for your for nice even coverage.”

After having the chance to try Ultraceuticals Ultra Moisture range and brightening serum, I am in love with the brand....wish they had sales at least once per year, they are pricey!

Hmmm, would love to try the Model Co Bronze Sunscreen. I've never really used anything like it... but it seems like a really convenient product! Bit scared of Model Co products tho - I used their tanning mits and ended up with tiger stripes all over my body! :( Not a good look!

I'm up for the Yankee Candle and the 50+ sunscreen, especially a super potent sun block that doesn't smell like a sun block :-)
