The Olay Daily Facials Cleansing Cloths are five-in-one cleansing cloths that remove makeup, scrub, tone, mask and cleanse. These specially textured, water-activated dry soft cloths help to break up visible and invisible residue, and are available in three variations – one for every skin type.

Olay Daily Facials Daily Hydrating Cleansing Cloths are formulated with grapeseed extract to smooth and replenish skin’s natural hydration during cleansing.

A clear majority of Triallers were happy with how clean and refreshed their skin felt after using the hydrating cloths, with most people finding them more effective than wipes they’d used in the past.

Olay Daily Facials Deeply Purifying Cleansing Cloths nourish and exfoliate the skin, with over 3,000 exfoliators to smooth and help remove impurities for a deep clean down to the pores.

Every member on the trial found the purifying cloths left their skin thoroughly cleansed, removing all traces of makeup from their face. Everyone also agreed that the cloths far exceeded other wipes they’d used in the past, and would be incorporating the Olay ones into their regular routine.

Olay Daily Facials Sensitive Cleansing Cloths gently clean skin with no irritations. They are infused with light Olay moisturisers, to soothe and condition, making it gentle enough for daily use, even on sensitive skin.

All Triallers mentioned their excitement to recommend these wipes to their family and friends, after been throughly impressed with how refreshed their skin felt after using them. Those with sensitive skin found these wipes to be more gentle than those they’d used in the past, and didn’t cause irritation.

“These are dry cloths, just wet with water and wipe your face. Rinse. Repeat. They are so easy to use, just a little water in the cloth and massage that into the cloth until bubbles starts to form I did use with makeup remover which helped but they still did a great job.” Paigeejrobinson, Read more here…

“In terms of makeup removal I found it to be as good as my favourite cleanser without the hassle of using a brush or face cloth which was great. The after feeling of the product was soooooo silky … not too drying however you do need to moisturise fairly soon after cleansing as it does begin to feel slightly tight. My skin however did look beautifully polished after using and when using a cotton pad and toner after use I found that I had ZERO makeup left on my face” – A Lil Yuki, Read more here…

“Most days my makeup including waterproof mascara had been on for several hours. This product removed it all with ease and was so convenient to take away with me on trips instead of lugging my usual make up remover routine of micellar water and cotton pads.” – SarahMHeit, Read more here…

“What I found most impressive about this product is that it effectively removed my eye makeup with out irritation, something I struggle with using normal makeup wipes. After using I would towel dry my face and found my skin free from makeup and feeling cleansed but not dry which is great!” – MoniqueKerstin, Read more here…

Olay Daily Facials Sensitive Cleansing Cloths

“These cleansing cloths are good quality and a generous size. The water activation step is easy and the cloth gets a nice creamy lather. It gives a thorough clean, leaving my skin feeling refreshed. I used these to cleanse my skin at night to remove makeup and freshen up my skin in the morning. These would be very handy to use when on the go or while travelling.” – Chickbaby1, Read more here…

“The scent is fresh and bright smelling and I really like it. I felt these wipes were super easy to use and gave my skin a fantastic clean. With just a little bit of water I was able to get a lovely lather and a gentle wipe feeling. I used these wipes for a week everyday and I love the way my skin feels at night. It removes my make up with ease and it doesn’t dry my skin out like the other wipes I have used previously. ” – Melissa355, Read more here…

  1. I was a little bit on the fence about the selling point but what I believe they might be going for is that it is not a liquid (which may spill whilst travelling), it is not a wet wipe which may dry out or discolour if not closed properly or dry out or discolour if you put it in the cupboard between opening the packet for travel and the next time you travel.

But then again if you are travelling to a place where clean water is hard to come by then you might as well slick to the wet wipe.

For me it is more of a travel item for the ease of packing your bags but if you are happy packing another dry facial cleanser you can go for that instead. It is just another option 🙂

PS I don’t like the in shower moisturiser! It made my shower floor way too slippery. I think my life flashed before my eyes on more than one occasion!

  2. Probably not, there is nothing on the packaging to say that they are. The only thing the packing had about disposal was an image to indicate that they are to thrown into the bin and not the toilet.

  3. I was thinking the same thing when I was using them (I don’t usually use wipes as they leave a horrid residue on my skin and I usually don’t find them that effective).
They are a great idea and they work well but it is a bit wasteful regarding the amount of rubbish you are making. But then I needed to stop myself thinking that as I love to use Micellar water when I remove makeup and I need to use one cotton round each time I use that (one when using a good Micellar water, more if used a not so good one) so for me personally it creates a similar amount of waste if I only use this to remove makeup. But then again, I’m not sure why I am bringing that up as I try not to use Micellar water too much as I don’t like chucking out too many cotton rounds and often when I do I break the cotton round in half so that I am not wasting too much 🙂
