2D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro Boost Serum Reviews

one of the first one i have tried with this brand, this serum is fastly absorbed by my skin after application, and a little soothing feeling, but can't really see a huge difference even have been continuously using for 3 weeks.

I have been impressed by BOOST LAB 2-D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro BOOST serum to say a least. The ingredients pack a punch consisting, panthenol, hyluronic acid and glycerin, the trifecta of the hydration with great properties to have in a serum. The boost lab product’s ingredients list has been so cleverly put together and well thought making them fail safe and fool proof to use. BOOST LAB 2-D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro BOOST Serum not only provides the expected hydration but is also non irritating , gentle and easy to use with its clever packaging and formula. With great hydration, any skin care products that you apply after the serum , goes well and you need a less moisturiser to cover the entire face. Even the makeup application is easier and makeup sits well due to having well hydrated nourished skin. The serum is light, non greasy and works well with other products.

Unless you have the type of skin that is just perfect (or you are 20),a serum is a must in your skincare arsenal...it is a powerful form of ingredients that boosts your skincare to the next level,BUT they can be exxy ($1000 is not unheard of),so what can you do to treat your skin but NOT have to sell your house to afford ? Try this.
BOOST LAB 2D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro Boost Serum is a facial serum that helps hydrate the skin to fight the signs of dry, rough, dull and irritated skin,leaving it feel soft,soothed and so hydrated you will feel like that is all you need.With an ingredient lineup that reads like one from a much more "out of my league" brand: Natural Bio-Complex to add moisture by drawing in in from the environment,Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid to hold moisture in within the skin,and D-Panthenol to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier by attracting water into the skin,this tiny,frosted glass (30 ml for around $30) is a skincare must have.
I used this every night post cleansing (half a dropper full...yes,this is a dropper style bottle,so you have full control over how much you use),and felt benefits after a few hours.My skin felt hydrated,soft,plumped and cared for,and this lasted until the next day (sleep,wake up to plump,bouncy skin),without a hint of greasiness at all,whilst the glow it gave meant i could go out,sans makeup,and still feel like i was "put together" with my fine lines around my eyes plumped,my forehead deep lines looking less defined,and my cheeks looking a little more poreless and even toned.As a little side benefit,hubby grabbed this after a shave once,and loved it so much,he wants his own.

Boost Lab 2D Hyaluronic Hydro Boost serum comes in a frosted charcoal grey 30mL glass bottle with a dropper for dispensing the product. With 2 forms of HA, it is marketed to "replenish moisture, reinforce skins moisture barrier and rescue dry, dull, irritated and sensitive skin."

The product is a clear viscous serum with a faint earthy scent which I think, comes from the ingredients rather than an added fragrance. I apply the serum to my freshly cleansed face after toner while my skin is still damp. I surprisingly only need a single pipette of product for my entire face. The serum applies easily and I mist my face with thermal spring water to dampen the layer of HA serum. Sodium hyaluronate can absorb up to 1000 times its weight in water but when HA can't find moisture in the environment, it will suck moisture from your skin, thereby making skin feel dry and tight. Misting my face before and/or after apply HA serum helps stop this from happening.

My skin feels hydrated and I follow it up with my regular moisturiser and after 2 weeks of trial I can say it does indeed keep skin hydrated and plump. I can't find any faults in this product to be honest, but I won't be purchasing the serum once I use up the product. I prefer HA in my moisturiser (along with other ingredients) because the purpose of HA is to moisturise skin. I prefer to use other serums such as Vitamin C, aha, retinol, etc as a treatment product before the moisturiser layer goes on. This is my personal preference but I can see if a person has dry, sensitive skin, how an extra boost of hydration might be helpful.

Next to trial was Boost Lab 2D Hyaluronic Hydro Boost Serum. I have seen this brand around online but have not tried it yet, so couldn’t wait to get my hands on this. I am a serum fanatic. I am 51 with mature, super-dry skin, so am always looking for products that state their effectiveness on dry skin. The serum is housed in a dark bottle, which helps to keep the sunlight out, protecting the product inside. The serum is removed from the bottle using a drop applicator, which aids in controlling the amount of product you dispense…you do not want to waste any of this! It applies so easily onto my face and neck, absorbing quite quickly, leaving no sticky residue. The serum has minimal scent and works well with any of the other skincare brands and products I use regularly. What makes this serum so special is how it is formulated with 2 biological forms of HA. It is made in New Zealand and is also cruelty free, a big tick!
My face has felt a difference with the moisturisation level, I’ve noticed this because I am in air conditioning daily, which dries out my facial skin terribly. I love the way it feels on application and I do think my skin is looking better overall since including this in my skincare routines. This is a serum I would definitely buy.

My skin has been all over the shop lately - dry and parched, while simultaneously congested and blemish-prone. Let's just say my expectations for this little bottle of serum were set fairly low. Thank goodness that brown glass delivered some pretty wonderful stuff!

All it took was 4 drops of unperfumed serum each morning to see results. My 43-year-old skin has a fair few fine lines, especially around the eyes, and I'm often too rushed in the mornings to prioritise makeup for work. This means that my colleagues can see exactly how dehydrated and tired I am, and they're not shy about telling me. This silky serum smoothed my lines by plumping the surrounding skin, sucking moisture in and holding it there. The days when I used this serum along with my rosehip oil and SPF, I got comments on how great my skin was looking (despite being just as dehydrated and tired as every other day). That fresh glow stays all day, and isn't just when I'm checking myself before running out the door.

Application was easy - 3-4 drops onto my fingertips, smoothed over the face after cleansing. It absorbed immediately, leaving no residue or feeling of moisturisation on the skin. I definitely couldn't use this without following it up with some kind of moisturising product. I've made it a permanent part of my skincare routine, as it's been so effective, compared to many HA-containing products I've used before that did nothing for my skin except make it expensive.

I have never used an oil based serum without breaking out...that is until now.

I have quite oily skin and use minimal products so I was sceptical going into using this product.
I have seen a lot of Glow Lab products at the supermarket and wasn’t sure about the quality.

I was pleasantly surprised! The packaging is quite simple but very clear to read with lots of information. It’s antioxidant rich with 82% increase in hyaluronic acid levels which is a huge claim!
It contains no nasties and is made in neighbouring New Zealand
I used 2 drops of the serum and massaged it into my skin. It wasn’t very greasy which was good and it doesn’t have a perfume and it’s not rich in colour. It’s quite clear.
It absorbs into the skin quickly and feels lovely on the skin.
I really liked this product and think it will be really beneficial in winter with the more drying climate when we are using heaters.

This is a lovely serum from Boost Lab to increase your skins hydration. We often need some extra hydration for our skin. And with winter coming, I am going to be glad to have this. I use this serum after cleansing or exfoliating and before my moisturiser. It definitely gives my skin an extra boost of hydration that is visible. It is great for dry, rough, dull and irritated skin. I don't just use it on my face. I use it anywhere I feel I need it. And that may mean hands, elbows, knees and any other body part. It is not just our faces that deserve TLC! You just need a few drop and it will soak in quickly, soothe and hydrate. It is super light on the skin and dos not leave a greasy or oily feeling. This is a clean and ethical product. It is totally free from sulphates, parabens, fragrances and does not use any animal testing.

Product comes in a standard 30ml bottle with an eye dropper dispenser and is made in New Zealand. I have the anti-ageing serum from the same brand and must admit I much prefer that one to this Hydro Boost Version.

This product contains 2 biological forms of hyaluronic and acid and is supposed to deeply and long-term hydrate the skin. I have experiemented with many brands and types of HA and found that it just does not hydrate my skin and does quite the opposite, it tends to dry it out and make it feel tight.

I have found this is due to the environment I live in, quite dry with little to no natural humidity in the air so there is no moisture for the HA to pull into the skin. I also live and work in a climate-controlled environment so that is also not useful when using HA.

For the record I am in my late 40's with normal-dry skin and find that more emolient products work for my living conditions and HA cannot give me the moisture I need. I found the product easy to apply and it absorbs well and plays well with other skincare and makeup. It's just unfortunately not a product I can use due to the living conditions I have.
