11 ways to improve yourself in 2011

The New Year calls for a new you, right? In theory yes, but in reality it’s pretty damn hard to achieve a complete and utter overhaul in the space of one measly year.
So rather than set out to recreate yourself entirely, why not scroll through our list of easy-peasy beauty and lifestyle additions, pick and choose those that take your fancy and make a point of keeping up with them throughout the year. They’re super simple to incorporate into even the most hectic of schedules, and are guaranteed to leave you looking and feeling gorgeous.
#1: Multi-task your moisturiser
Can’t be bothered with extra bits of beauty in the mornings? If there’s one thing you can do to make your mornings more efficient and your skin more youthful-looking, it’s to combine your daily moisturiser with a broad-spectrum SPF. Yes, yes, I’m sure you’ve heard it all before but seriously beauties, if you don’t want to end up looking blotchy and wrinkly way before your time it’s imperative to protect your skin from the sun – every. single. day.
We love: Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defence SPF 30+ as it provides perfect hydration and protection for sensitive and normal skins alike.

I have only ever tried Cetaphil Cleanser. It sounds like a good skincare brand.

I probably would take around 45mins if I have organized clothes etc. the night before. I usually take about 20 mins to do my makeup in the morning. I can get be quicker but I prefer to take my time and not rush things.

I like getting out of bed about 45 minutes before I have to leave, and I hate straightening my hair when I'm in a rush!

Being in customer service there are certain standards that I have to adhere to for work. My beauty regime as well as makeup normally take around half an hour (mainly because I have it fairly down pat), otherwise it would probably take about an hour.

It takes me about 50 minutes. That includes shower/dressing/makeup/hair. I make sure I have more than enough time to get everything done.

I will have to try this. My routine needs work, at the moment I can be out the door in about 5 mins, but that is hair in a pony tail and no make up, moisturiser and no breakfast either. I will definitely be trying this product.
