I have received little sample sizes of the creme de la mer by La Mer and I’ve heard it called magic cream. I am hoping it lives up to the hype.

$499 for the Giorgio Armani serum, and here I thought splurging meant $100.

Although nice, I don't think it's worth it to spend a lot on cleansers because they're not on your face for very long and there are so many great cheaper ones out there

Most luxury skin care products are pretty good at giving out samples for you to try before getting them.
Unfortunately SKII is not one of them. The amount of samples they have is unbelieveable. I have terrible skin reactions from several of their products too. I can tolerate their treatment essence and the RNA face cream.

I love La prairie until I found out that Nivea owns them ... I love the bottles and packaging though because it looks great on my dresser!! but the ingredients I am not so sure about..

I like to splurge on luxe products, but only if they have good stuff in them and preform really well! Some just have name stuck to them and formulas are not even worth 10 bucks!
Just recently splurged on a few Tom ford lippes as I love to wear them, and they have fab formula. I did even splurge on risk on skincare, but will never ever do that again without testing a sample beforehand! (got a really bad skin reaction on SKII product!)

I'm still upset about Estee Lauder discontinuing much of their lovely lipstick range. The Pure Colour range has been my favourite for ages and it's impossible to get some of my favourites any longer.

I use Samuel Gravan geranium mandarin day creme and his mandarin and cedarwood body lotion.. find it very nourishing and all certified organic.. also use the sukin cleanser for the day and sometimes I buy random items from the markets...

Wow! $500 for a serum!

A $500 serum and a $500 moisturiser. I would buy them if they make me look 10 years younger.
I don't mind splurging a little bit more for things that I love. The makeup products featured here are not entirely unaffordable and I like the Estee Lauder lipstick

I love luxe beauty products, there is just something about using them that feels so indulgent! I absolutely love the temps majeur supreme cream from YSL but sadly with a $380 price tag it is a luxury I cannot maintain haha!
