I have a couple of splurges as at my age i need some products that are doing their job. And I also have some that are also bargains and they too have their place in my skin care range

I don't buy skincare for the brand name I buy it if it has the ingredients I know has been scientifically proven to work for skin. I spend very little on cleansers as it only comes in contact with the skin for a few seconds but will splurge on serums and moisturisers if need be. However, I still try to find affordable products with good skin care ingredients.

I use a mixture of splurge and steal products but as most have said it's the ingredients that count and what works for you.

I always look at the ingredients (quality) over the price. The high price doesn't necessarily mean it is better.

Definitely checking out the Covergirl concealer. Sounds great.
My skincare does have a few splurges that I feel are brillant for my age. Then I have my inexpensive products that are worth their weight in gold.

I look at the ingredients these days. If a cheaper product has better ingredients I'll go for that. Just because its expensive doesn't mean its better sometimes.

I'm divided it's so hard at times I've splurged and been disappointed found steals that are great and then the total opposite, I think I rely a lot more on reviews when splurging

Yay more Splurge vs Steal (always a crowd pleaser)
I tend to splurge for things that will stay on my skin (toners, moisturisers, serums) and steal for cleansers and makeup removers... though not always. I love splurging on cleansing oil!
I think I might need to pick up both of those concealers though. The lemmings are strong for anything Benefit and for something that cheap!

I look for cruelty free products, including companies who don't sell to china where mandatory animal testing is required.

I'd prefer a natural product so if its more expensive or a steal I'll go with that.

I don't mind some of these 'steal' products but would certainly love the 'splurge' ones too! But I love me some good skincare!

I find it rather interesting Nutrimetics is now considered a splurge brand!

I will splurge on some products, but go for the more wallet friendly option at other times.

Definitely try the steal ones, we often pay too much.

Are the "brightening" serums similar to the Korean skin whitening products?

I have not tried any of the above products. I have been splurging more lately. I try to buy a mix of cheaper and more expensive products.

I definitely splurge. Eco-luxe skincare is my one luxury item so I spend a lot of time researching different ingredients. Hand made artisanal products made from organic wild crafted ingredients are my weakness.

With skincare I don't mind splurging but it depends more on the active ingredients and if it does what it says and less about the brand.
