It’s always nice to see snaps of celebrities without make-up, but sometimes they look a bit too Photoshopped for my liking.
That’s not the case with this gorgeous pic of singer Ellie Goulding.
Sharing an up-close selfie with her Insta fans recently, the celeb kept things truly au naturale by showing off a face of fabulous freckles.
Of course, Ellie looks equally stunning when she’s dolled up – but with skin this radiant, there’s really no coverage required.
Sadly, not everyone took well to the make-up free snap, with some posting rather mean comments.
But Ellie hit back, tweeting: “I’ll keep posting makeup-free photos sorry haters.”
She also told them to get the hell off her social media: “And also if you follow me on Instagram just to make weird comments like ‘put some makeup on’ please unfollow because that’s not really my vibe.”
Well said, Ellie – we like your vibe much more!
Admittedly, I had freckle fever wayyy before Ellie posted her selfie.
I don’t have a smattering as generous as the singer’s, but I’ll always cherish the few that dot my nose in summer!
