, Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Serum is a facial serum designed to refresh and soften skin. Formulated with Jurlique rose and dwarf lilyturf root extracts, the serum is said to protect and supplement skin barrier function. The Jurlique rose extract also has a specially designed microcapsule delivery system to deliver clinically proven 24-hour hydration.  Most of our members found this “silk-like” serum gave their skin a hydration boost that lasted throughout the day. The rose scent was enjoyed by most of the triallers, but others found that it was slightly overpowering. Some members began seeing a significant difference to their skin texture within the first two weeks of use, while others felt that they didn’t see the changes they expected.  Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion is a lightweight, hydrating and replenishing face lotion. Formulated with prickly pear extract, senna seed, polysaccharide and the Jurlique rose extract, the lotion helps to soften and soothe dehydrated skin and is also ideal to wear under make-up.  Many members who reviewed this lotion mentioned the glow that was left on their skin after use, as well as the fact that it helped restore moisture to dry skin. I used two pumps of the serum (and lotion) and pat it onto my skin and then rubbed lightly in small circles as per the instructions. The serum is very fast to sink into the skin as well in comparison to the lotion. I can’t say if it improved any fine lines (they are only around my eyes) but there was a noticeable difference in the hydration of my skin. Over the past weekend I was a little bit lazy with my skin care routine and the dreaded dry patch on my nose returned – needless to say, using the serum and lotion combated the dry patch so it was a good reminder to make sure I used it twice a day if I was planning on wearing makeup. On days where I wasn’t going outside or wearing makeup, I found using it once a day was enough for my skin. I loved using this in conjunction with the serum which claims to prevent water loss in the skin and prevent signs of ageing. Both products are so lightweight, non greasy and easy to use in a pump, my absolute fave dispenser for its clean application! The lotion has a beautiful light rosy scent on the initial application but it fades away throughout the day – so for those sensitive to smells like me, this is okay to use. The serum is very light weight and non greasy so it was great to use both morning and night. During the day, I would use the lotion and serum a few minutes before applying makeup as its absorbed so so quickly. You only need 1 – 2 pumps of the product which is enough to be applied on the face, neck and décolletage. The lotion was very similar to most lotions that I’ve tried before, in that it has the exact same white consistency that most creams & lotions have. However, I sometimes relate the smell of roses to a grandmas bathroom, so the smell of roses wouldn’t be my preferred choice of smell.
