It’s not unheard of for Gisele to top a poll or two. The model we’d most want to look like, check. Best hair, check. Longest legs, check. And given her sassy straightforwardness, killer curves and lustrous locks, I’m stumped to think whom she’d give the nod to as her style icon.
Well that’s the million-dollar question that style.com posed to the sexy supermodel in The Gisele Questionnaire. And I must say how thrilled I was to learn that it was our very own Blanchett’s style that she covets.
It seems even a glamazon of Gisele’s stature is not immune to beautiful Blanchett’s charms. And we can see why.
Judi Dench famously compared Blanchett’s complexion to a white peach. We’d say it’s the picture of ivory perfection. The perfect advocate for SK-II, with her radiant and youth-emitting skin, the acclaimed actress lists SK-II Skin Rebooster amongst her favourites and declares it a definite must for long-distance travel (which, when you’re as in demand as this hot Aussie, is a career hazard).
Interestingly, Blanchett hasn’t always been happy in her pale skin. She revealed in an interview that she did try to tan – unsuccessfully and painfully – when she was 14, as being on the whiter shade of pale was “deeply uncool”. Now it seems, as well as being the poster girl for fair skin, she can add beauty icon of the stars to that long list of achievements.
Hurrah for Cate,
Gisele also revealed in the interview that she adds a little Pantene Pro-V to the tips of her hair to smooth and shine those famous locks, what’s your tip for unparalleled shine?
