How to wake up more beautiful

If you spent the last few weeks of summer soaking up those delicious, warm rays, we don’t blame you. We did the same! But now, reality has set in, the season’s officially over, and no doubt your skin’s showing the signs of a long, hot summer on the sand.

So, why not treat your skin to a little no-effort, overnight pampering? That way, you can wake up looking downright gorgeous – and with a serious glow to boot!

Enter, the overnight mask. Yes, they’re just as luscious as they sound, but without the mess of your regular mask. They have a ton of skin-loving benefits, and they work while you sleep! Skin care hack, much?!

What is an overnight mask?

While you sleep, your skin cells repair and regenerate themselves, so it’s the perfect time to feed your skin a whole lot of moisture and nourishment. Overnight masks are incredibly rich in hydrating ingredients, and work while you’re snoozing away for extra-glowy skin come morning.

How do I use an overnight mask?

Overnight masks are super easy to incorporate into your routine as there’s no need to wait around for a certain number of minutes before washing them off. Once a week, after cleansing, toning, and applying your serum and moisturiser, smooth a thin layer of the mask to your entire face and down your neck. Don’t forget to apply it around the hairline, in between your eyes, and on the corners of your nose. Allow it a minute or two to sink in, and then jump into bed.

Oh, and don’t worry about your linens – overnight masks soak into the skin just like a moisturiser, so you won’t need to deal with mess or sticky sheets.

For seriously glowing skin, we love:
