Get the look: hot date looks he’ll love – page 3

Whether you’re a structured strands kinda girl, or you love your locks all loose and boho-like, odds are you’ll be looking for a sexy hairstyle come February 14th.

And we’ve no doubt you’ll be on the hunt for that perfect make-up look too. Whatever your wishes this Valentine’s Day, rest assured that there’s a way to wear your hair and make-up that will make him fall in love with you all over again! We’ll show you how…

High and mighty with Kate Bosworth

For once it’s not Kate’s two-toned eyes that have our attention. It’s that fabulous high bun that has us in a spin.

Quick tip: if your hair is a little on the fine side, use a volumising product that will make it appear thicker than it really is. De Lorenzo Instant Accentu8 Volume Spray is perfect for this, as it adds volume while nourishing your locks.

1.    To achieve a super high bun, tip your head upside-down and pull your hair into a high ponytail that sits on the crown of your head. Stand upright, ensure your hair is sleeked down over your head, then fasten with an elastic band. Note: use two elastics if your hair feels at all loose. The ponytail is the base for the whole style, so it needs to be secure.

2.    To add further volume to the hair, slightly tease sections of your ponytail with a fine-toothed comb (we love Lady Jayne Comb – Tail for this.) Once teased, wrap the ponytail around the elastic as many times as you can and secure the ends with bobby pins as close to the elastic as possible. We love Scunci No-Slip Grip Bobby Pins as they stay put!

3.    Next, slightly loosen your bun by pulling out sections with the metal end of the tail comb. This will make it feel less tight and make the bun appear fuller.

4.    To finish, spritz the finished style with some L’Oreal Paris Elvive Nutri-Gloss Conditioning Shine Spray for an all-over shiny result.
