beautyheaven says…

, The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water is a cleansing water that hydrates and comforts dry, sensitive skin. Garnier combines the efficacy and lightness of micellar cleansing water with a touch of milk for cleansed, makeup-free and hydrated skin. With just one cotton pad and without rubbing, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water removes impurities and makeup without drying out skin. Most triallers found that the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water left their skin feeling soft and hydrated. They liked that the product wasn’t overly scented and they also liked that there was no need to wash the product off after using it. Although some mentioned that they struggled to remove stubborn makeup with the product, most triallers found that it removed their makeup quite easily. They also like that it was very gentle on the skin and found the product to be a great choice for anyone with sensitive skin. *Based on a survey of 50 beautyheaven Trial Team members. micellar cleanser i’ve used!

olutely love the Garnier Cleansing Milky Water. I apply heavy eye makeup more or less every day and have tried a number of different products that assist me in removing my makeup at the end of the day. I found that the milky water was the most effective at removing my mascara and eyeliner! It feels as if my skin can breathe after a long day of pollution and makeup. The formula is not too thick and does not have that sticky feeling. The best part is that it is fragrance, parables and alcohol-free – which means that there are no stinking or itching eyes when you have the product on your eyes! This feels like an exciting new twist on an old product. It really does do what it set out to achieve I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to make their cleansing routine much easier.…read more reviews here

ting alternative to regular micellar water

arnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water pleasantly surprised me. I originally thought it might be a gimmicky offshoot of micellar water but I quite enjoyed using it. For context, I have found that micellar water works as a makeup remover for me but I prefer methods that are more gentle on my sensitive skin, like cleansing oil. It was quite easy to use, as you just pour a small amount onto a cotton pad and gently wipe over your face. The runny, liquid/gel hybrid consistency made it easy to pour although you just need to be careful because it’s runnier than it looks. The consistency made it easy to spread and was less likely to irritate my skin as it wiped off the makeup I used, without the cotton pad scraping across my face. I was impressed by the way it didn’t leave my skin worse off and left my face feeling refreshed and makeup free. As a person with quite sensitive skin, I love that it’s fragrance-free and has a short ingredients list so that all the sensitive skin beauties out there (including me!) are less likely to react to it. That’s a pretty amazing thing when you’re used to being disappointed by products that your skin just can’t handle. I will say that I only really use a light layer of foundation and can’t speak for the cleansing milky water’s performance on full coverage makeup. I did find that it did a good job on eyeliner. I would definitely recommend trying out this product if you’ve previously found that just plain micellar water can be drying. On top of that, it’s pretty affordable compared to other micellar brands like Bioderma. I’ve enjoyed trying it out and while I still like other makeup removal methods, this has brought me back on the micellar water bandwagon.…read more reviews here

for sensitive skin

te enjoyed trialling the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water, it was effective at removing makeup whilst being gentle on the skin and not leaving it feeling dry. It had a very minimal pleasant smell and came in a large 400ml bottle which suggests it would last for up to 200 washes. The milky texture of the water itself was a little thicker than ordinary micellar water that I am used to, and leaves a slight film over the face, though this didn’t necessarily bother me as I felt it was great for moisturising the skin after using. The only dislike I had was it struggled to remove my waterproof mascara with ease, and took a good few times and a fair few cotton pads used before it was entirely removed. Overall would recommend for people with sensitive.…read more reviews here

for sensitive skin

e this product, I poured a small amount on a cotton ball and wiped all across my face and neck first. Then used another cotton ball with a little more product and worked on the areas which needed a second wipe (eye makeup and eyebrows). I think using this product along with a washcloth would probably give better/cleaner results due to the abrasiveness of a washcloth. I’ll be honest, after application, there is a slight sticky like residue after it dries on the face but I just wash it off and my skin instantly feels better and cleaner. Although, the product does advertise no rinsing needed. There is no distinct smell to this makeup remover, so this would suit those sensitive to smells and sensitive skin. Definitely did not dry my skin out which was great! The 400ml bottle claims up to 200 uses – considering the size of the bottle and the average amount used, I would say it is close to that amount. Overall I do like this makeup remover and keep it in my current skin care rotation. But I will most likely go for the original micellar water version as I prefer the watery texture.…read more reviews here

e and effective makeup remover

ll this is a good, gentle but effective micellar cleansing water. The product has a thick, milky texture that goes on skin very smoothly and gently removes all the makeup. I find it as good as the original (pink or green) Garnier micellar water. I usually need only 3 cotton pads to completely remove all of my face makeup. The only minus is that due to the thick consistency, it doesn’t absorb into the cotton pad, but instead stays on top of the pad’s surface. But I think that’s the point of the product: works as a buffer of itself so that it is gentle on the skin. It also doesn’t have any smell, doesn’t sting my eyes or irritate my skin. Even though it says on the package that you don’t need to rinse, I still do a final rinse with lukewarm water. The “after” feeling on the skin is good. My skin feels softer and well hydrated without the need to use moisturiser. I think this micellar water would suit anyone, even those with very sensitive skin.…read more reviews here
