Your in-isolation weekly sheet mask schedule

Your in-isolation weekly sheet mask schedule

To say our weekly schedules have turned to dust is pretty much the understatement of the century. Workout classes? Cancelled. The 8am train? A no go. Our salon appointments? Donezo. And TBH we’re missing the structure.

So while we’re inside, it’s important to still build out some kind of schedule to set the days apart from each other and give ourselves a sense of normality – especially for the important stuff, like sheet masks (obviously).

Because while choosing your mask solely based on how cute it’ll look on the gram is always an option (and one we’re in full support of), we’re generally in it for more than just aesthetics, with multiple skin concerns we’re aiming to counteract.

And though one single sheet mask may not be able to address every issue, a solid skin schedule can – here’s our roundup of a week’s worth of stellar sheet masks that’ll take you all the way from moisturising Monday to soothing Sunday (and your complexion from bleak to blessed by EOW).

You’re going to want to add these vital bookings to your calendar ASAP.

Monday: maximise moisture

Palmer’s Coconut Water Hydrating Sheet Mask

Cure your face’s case of Monday-itis with this richly rehydrating mask. Formulated with a complexion-quenching combo of coconut forms (oil, milk and water!) plus hyaluronic acid, macadamia oil and cocoa butter, it’s ready and waiting to drench your skin in moisture.

Tuesday: boost brightness

Olay Skinfusion Deep Sea Algae Healthy Aura Sheet Mask

Been feeling flat lately? So has your skin. This radiance-restorer is bound to get your face looking luminous again, thanks to its brightening blend of Japanese deep sea algae; it’s the perfect formula to follow yesterday’s moisture-packed mask with to really commit to a glossy finish.

Wednesday: get glowing

St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask

Now obviously a faux glow is always the way to go anyway, but we’re just saying we’re starting to notice how vampires stay so pale in the movies (hint: they, like us, are always inside). By applying this subtle self-tanning sheet mask to your skin post-moisture and brightness boost, you’ll be left with a delightfully dewy all-around glow.

Thursday: purify pores

Simple Charcoal Purifying Sheet Mask

Alright, now that you’re a few days in (and your face has been loaded with hydrating and glow-enhancing ingredients), it’s time to hit skin with a pore-purifying mask to keep the good stuff in and get the bad stuff out. This one uses the powers of bamboo charcoal to keep your complexion free of congestion.

Friday: promote plumpness

The Body Shop Drops of Youth™ Youth Concentrate Sheet Mask

Ah, another Friday with no plans… we recommend a plumping formula to fight the boredom-related frown lines. Enriched with the brand’s iconic Drops of Youth concentrate, this sheet mask dials up skin’s bounchy, smooth and fresh factors like a dream.

Saturday: banish blemishes

Skin Republic Spots + Blemish Anti-Spot & Pore Refining Face Mask Sheet

You know how you would sometimes commit to a Saturday detox if the post-Friday hangover got too rough? Well, this mask helps you to do that for your blemishes instead of your body. Coated in a cleansing concoction of witch hazel, salicylic acid and tea tree oil, it’s sure to send pimples packing.

Sunday: soothe sensitivity

Kiss Cucumber: Soothing Sheet Mask

However you slice it, Sunday is the day of rest, so give your skin a chance to chill with this redness-relieving cucumber cotton mask. It’ll ease any inflammation caused by the blemish banisher you applied yesterday, while also replenishing and invigorating skin for the week ahead.

  1. Absolutely use Sheet Masks every single week, they are awesome like some of the above mentioned Sheet Masks, have been using a Vitamin C infused Mask with Serums. My skin is looking so much better for using Sheet Masks.

  2. I love sheet masks, especially The Body Shop and Skin Republic. I usually use one on Sunday nights, but I’ve gotten a bit out of routine lately. I’ve got some Go-To Skincare ones in the queue waiting to be used too.

  3. My schedule is always same, whatever I want to do I do really…things never changed. Lately didn't mask much as using some other things instead. Just once per week or so pop one on …

  4. I love sheet masks, I have some in the fridge at the ready for a self care loving time out. I find skin republic masks works well on my skin. I’ve tried so many I’ve lost count. I’ve recently ordered some newbies from Mecca

  5. I have heaps of sheet masks, didn’t realise it is ok to use them so often. I do a pot mask once or twice a week so I will start using sheet masks on the other days. I will have to check for any best before dates on them.

  6. I absolutely love sheet masks and been trying to utilise 1 a week (since January) and while in lockdown it's been easier to make this happen! I've also been trying to use up my clay masks so I've added that into my routine too.

One of my favourites is Skin Physics for a great go to for hydration.

  7. I've got a couple of sheet masks to use, but first I want to get through my potted masks as I've had them the longest. The sudden cold snap isn't making me want to mask I must admit!
