Skin Active Hydra Bomb Tissue Face Mask Green Tea Reviews

I'll start by saying that I feel all of the tissue masks in this range are pretty similar, with some subtle differences in scent. I enjoy the scent of this one as it always makes my skin feel nice and soothed afterward. These are simple to use, low mess, and are a really great hydration boost during the winter months.

I recently bought this sheet mask on sale. Since it is supposed to be a cooling mask, I decided to save it for an extremely hot day. I applied this sheet mask and basked in the sun on a 30°C day.

This mask comes in a foil sachet and it contains excess serum. The mask is easy to unfold and fit and it is very soft. After fitting it on my face, I applied the excess serum to my decolletage area. I kept the mask on for around 20 minutes. This mask definitely has a cooling effect.

After removing the mask, I patted the excess serum into my skin. My face felt soft and smooth and I just looked radiant.

I quite like this mask and will be repurchasing.

I'm a fan of all the Garnier face masks, not least because they are so readily available at the local supermarket and regularly come on sale. And, of course, because they are fantastic products!

The green mask is designed for extra moisture. I certainly find it plumps up my combination skin nicely, but I couldn't say how it would go on seriously dry skin.

The mask is a little fiddly to apply. As with all sheet masks, it has to be unfolded super carefully to avoid tears. The outer blue layer can then be a bit fiddly to remove, but once you manage to do that the mask itself sits comfortably on the contours of the face. Like all Garnier masks there is loads of serum, with extra left for application to the neck, chest and hands.

It is quite cold at first. I tend to use a sheet mask directly after showering when the pores are open, so I find the coolness quite refreshing. The serum stays sticky on your skin for sometime afterwards, so it is probably best used at night as makeup would not sit well on the residue.

I LOVE these Hydrabomb masks and have used both the pink and blue ones before but never the green one. I thought that this one is really for normal/combination skin as stated on the pack but I couldn't resist trying it out even though I have dry skin.

This one contains green tea and hyaluronic acid and is meant to rehydrate, purify, matify and reduce pores and imperfections.

So I opened the large sachet and carefully unfolded the mask making sure the blue sheet was on the outside as I applied it to my face. The blue sheet needs to be removed but this is a little tricky - it's best if you take it from the side where you can get a better grip on it. Then adjust the remaining white mask so the holes line up properly to your eyes, nose and mouth.

In some ways this mask is better to use in summer as they feel quite cold on the skin now it's nearly winter. There are a couple of seconds which are quite bracing ( think jumping into a cold pool) before you adjust to the temperature.

I left the mask on for 15 minutes (or a bit longer as I had to finish scrambling some eggs) and then I peeled off the mask.

There is quite a lot of serum left on your face afterwards which is rubbed in to the skin. It does take a while to absorb and I usually have enough to cover my neck and decolletage as well. It has a nice floral scent to me and not green as you'd expect from a green tea mask.

Afterwards I found my skin to be really hydrated and smooth. I simply applied moisturiser over the top and was good to go.

I really like how gentle this mask is too - it's non-irrtitating and even though it's for normal/combo/oily skin I really think this is good for all skin types even dry.

My fave is still the blue Hydrabomb mask but this is still really good. I highly recommend it!

Even though my skin type is dry, I absolutely loved this sheet mask and will be stocking up! After using it, my skin was left mattified, yet soft and supple at the same time (from the hyaluronic acid) - it's amazing! I think it'd be the perfect mask for those with combination or oily skin as it provides very weightless hydration. I can see why it has so many positive reviews, and it's my favourite one out of the three Garnier offers (blue, pink and green). The scent is subtle and inoffensive, so it won't bother many people. I took one star off because the shape of it is very big, so those with smaller faces should apply higher up on the forehead. Also, when I first put it on I experienced a slight tingling sensation which disappeared after two minutes. But overall, my skin is still smooth and touchably soft hours later. Highly recommend! So cheap when it's half price, I'd probably buy ten!!

I got this on sale so for the price, this is pretty good.
It's a tissue mask soaked in serum, it's easy to apply and stays on the face well.
I find the eye holes to be not wide enough so it's a little uncomfortable but not unbearably so.
I suppose it's good that it comes up so close around the eyes so you get the treatment around the eyes where you need it most.
After removing the mask there was quite a bit of serum left and it took about half an hour to dry down.
The scent was very artificial, it smelt kind of fresh, but there was another chemical smell. But it was nowhere near as bad as the rejuvenating mask.
My face looked hydrated. The next morning it looked good too.
This mask wasn't amazing, but it was good for the price. But then again, Korean sheet masks are so cheap and are amazing too.

This mask is super easy to use and has instructions on the back on how to use. The mask is quite slippery so you have to be careful unfolding it. The white tissue side goes against the skin and the blue layer on the outside. The mask properly can be adjusted to cling to the skin once the blue layer is peeled off. Once you remove this layer, it feels more comfortable on. The mask immediately feels very hydrating. I leave the mask on for 15 minutes then massage the excess solution into my skin. I then proceed to use a moisturiser on my skin after the mask.

Once the mask is removed, I immediately notice how glowing my skin is. My skin feels soft and plump with hydration. I could not ask for a better sheet mask. This is the best sheet mask that I have ever tried. My skin is hydrated and feels great the following day. The mask keeps my oily T-zone mattified while providing hydration. My skin is noticeably clearer after using this mask. Overall I feel more confident when I use this mask as it keeps my face fresh and bright.

I'm a big fan of masks and use them almost every week, but only picked this up half price for the first time yesterday, as my poor skin was having an absolute tantrum after Christmas, and my sister recommended this mask. I wasn't sure what to expect (I have oily/combination skin, so don't tend towards 'hydrating' masks), but boy was I surprised! The mask does feel very slimy when you first put it on, but it is easy to mould it to your face, and after 20 minutes, I had places where the mask had dried out - meaning my skin really needed that hydration! It stayed on, didn't drip (unlike other masks I have tried), and left my skin feeling so glowy and soft. I had some sore red pimple scars on my chin and jaw which are smoother and lighter today, and two large, inflamed pimples had decreased in size. My skin has a more consistent tone to it, and looks less patchy. I am totally buying another one of these today!!!

The mask was saturated with serum which could've been cut down a little bit in my opinion. But once I got the mask on it gave a nice cooling effect, which was much appreciated on the hot day. My skin felt a little tingly for the first few minutes which was a sensation I enjoyed.
The product is freshly and lightly fragranced and is easily kept on the face for a long time. My skin felt hydrated and moisturised. Will definitely be purchasing again!
