Sagging eyelids from aging – HELP!

Hi beauties!

For the last few months, i am noticing from photos that my eyes looked uneven. It took me a while but i finally figure out that one of my eyelids is sagging more than the other! I am only in my early 30’s and this is freaking me out.

What can i do?
Eye cream?
Exercise?
Beauty devices?

Please give suggestions.

To be honest guys I noticed that too some time ago (around the mid forties stage) – and it freaked me out too – but the good news is that the other eyelid will catch up and they will both be sitting evenly again soon. So don’t worry too much – things will even out in the end! ; )

I just use an eye cream on my eyes and I love the ones that promise firming up of the eyelids and can be used right around the eye area – including our beloved eyelids! I love the Avon Anew Clinical Eye Lift – one with the gel and cream in the same pot on different sides (it’s got a separate gel for the eyelid area and a separate cream for the undereye area).

I also love using a primer before I put my eyeshadow on (the Nude By Nature is a goodie).

I am sure there are much more expensive products out there though that I haven’t tried. One that I loved that I tried in a sample sachet was the one made in Israel (can’t remember the name but I’ll get back on that when I remember it!). I would buy it full size but it doesn’t seem to be readily available at the shops anywhere – just only on some websites. I think it’s got Dead Sea minerals in it or something. There is also an Innoxa one I like a lot and it’s from their latest range (I think it’s called Ageless) and I’ve finished that whole tube off! It’s great because I put it all around the eye including the eyelid. I go through eye creams pretty fast and another one I’ve gone through is the Revitalift eye cream by L’Oreal. Some great one’s out there!

Oh, this is not what I thought you were talking about. I don’t have this.

I noticed when my late Nan would rub her eye, that the lower eyelid took one or two seconds to go back into place. Sometimes it didn’t go back into place at all & I’d have to tell her to straighten her eyelid because it freaked me out. It was unnerving!

Recently I’ve noticed a split-second delay with my own eyelid when I do my makeup. It scared the hell out of me the first time it happened! Imagine looking in the mirror & seeing your reflection in freeze-frame like a slow loading image on a screen!

    Me too. Lol. Sigh.
There are a few eyelid serums I’ve noticed but not sure what else to do…lol…. I’ve noticed a bit of a difference with retin a/ retinol so maybe try that too.
