I try to keep hydrated to avoid dark under eye circles. Also getting in sleep helps.

I have puffy eye bags and sometimes dark circles, some of it can also be hereditary, Mum has always had puffy eye bags and my grandfather always had dark circles under his eyes.

Good tips on treating puffy eyes. Potato slices, never hear of that before, and how are you supposed to sleep all night with the slices staying in place? Do we tape them over our eyeballs? The cucumber slices treatment has been around for many many years, something I am sure our mothers and grandmothers used. My mother also uses cold used tea bags on her eyes, as well as the cucumber slices. She has been using natural remedies for such a long time, she is 107 this year.
Salt is a killer and I also swell up if I have anything salty, fingers especially, and I love potato crisps and ham - both full of salt.
Sleeping on your back all night is a practical tip, again impossible to maintain.
The Rosewater is something I haven't heard of or tried.

Salt is an issue for me. Even a few grains. Have not eaten any for year or so. Then came back home and got salted nuts. Yum. My puffy eyes. Not yum

I've used the cucumber trick for over 40 years when my eyes are feeling tired. I'm not familiar with raw potato being used to lighten the skin.
