Expert Trial Team: four fantastic finds

When deciding whether a product is worthy of re-purchase or not, I often have a checklist in mind as to whether it’s meeting my expectations. If it ticks all the boxes, I’ll buy it again. Others may prefer methods such as a pros and cons list, price versus quality, or whether the packaging looks good in their bathroom – all very valid deciding factors. Another great way is reading reviews, in particularly the Expert Trial Teams, because as far as incredibly good-looking, talented reviewers go, we tick all the boxes:

Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm

bh’s Cherie says…

“I love, love, LOVE glowy skin. Not only does it make you look more youthful, it makes your skin look healthier, too. So, you can understand why I would jump at the chance to try a product that promises to deliver a luminous glow while also softening imperfections. My skin looks radiant and feels plump when I’m wearing this illuminating product, so it certainly gets a big tick for its instant skin benefits. Here’s hoping I’ll soon start to benefit from its many anti-ageing ingredients with regular use. Oh, and you’ll also love it if you’ve got normal to dry skin, or skin that’s looking a little lacklustre and dull.” Read more…

Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water

bh’s Carli says…

“When it comes to make-up removal, I want the process to be as quick and efficient as possible. I don’t want to fiddle with a product for my face and then a different product for my lips and then yet another one for my eye make-up. I just want to get into bed. Is it too much to ask?

Apparently not, because this make-up remover truly does it all. And does it well.” Read more…

Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk

bh’s Sam says…

“I have two simple, but crucial demands when it comes to gradual tanners. Don’t make my legs look orange and moisturise my legs just as well as my regular lotion. Thankfully Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk ticks both boxes. The colour is noticeable but natural, which will be perfect for maintaining a healthy glow throughout winter. The lotion itself is white and spreads and absorbs just as well as a moisturiser, which is imperative for my dry legs.” Read more…

White Sands Orchid Oil

bh’s Nat. R says…

“This product is very deceiving. When I first got my hands on it I wasn’t too impressed with the packaging, nothing stands out and makes me think ‘Wow can’t wait to try that!’ But I put a small amount into my damp hair, and then I had my wow factor! Firstly, it smells divine. It has this beautiful fresh floral smell, which I find unusual for a hair oil but it was just lovely. The smell stayed in my hair for a few days as well! It was like perfume for my hair! This oil is nice and lightweight, so it didn’t make my hair feel heavy or greasy.” Read more…
