The new Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm range features both a day and a night cream formulated to lift, firm and define facial contours. Each of the products have been enriched with 3D FIT Technology and five times the ceramide quantity as a means to deliver intense hydration and visibly tighten sagging skin.

Each individual capsule is filled with a powerful concentrate that’s been clinically shown to target the size, number and intensity of dark spots. A blend of five potent brighteners work to visibly diminish their appearance while you sleep, for brighter skin with continued use.

From the very first use, the dusty pink, lightly fragranced gel-like cream delivered on its promises. Despite its lighter consistency, members of the Trial Team were surprised at how much hydration the formula actually provided, thankfully without a greasy or slow-absorbing residue.

As a hygiene precaution, some members prefer squeeze tubes over tubs. Nevertheless, they did appreciate the decision to use a partially recyclable glass jar from a sustainability point of view. Plus, they agreed that a small spatula or spoon to dispense the cream was an easy fix to any germ-spreading concerns they had. Sustainability and hygiene aside, all members of the Trial Team agreed that the luxurious nature of the gold lid and frosted glass was well aligned to the product’s higher-end price point. 

As for whether the cream lived up to its promises of firming and lifting ageing skin? The answer was a resounding yes. From their necks to under their eyes, members reported smoother, fresher and firmer skin, referring to the formula as containing “miracle ceramides”, which worked towards changing the overall appearance and texture of their skin. 

Sitting over $100, there were members who expressed that this price was more than they were used to spending on a day cream. However, the results, paired with the little amount of product required to cover your entire face and neck were both enough to convince members that this was a worthy investment and excellent addition to their skin care routine.

The Lift and Firm Night Cream is a white, rich formula that comes housed in a heavy glass jar, which was described as “simple but beautiful”. In contrast to the day formulation which members said had a “noticeable scent”, the night cream fragrance was described as being subtle and not overpowering. 

Several trial participants had previously avoided using night creams as they typically found the formulations too rich for their skin. This formula, however, while potent enough to hydrate dry skin, left those on the sensitive side entirely irritation free.  

In the morning, Trial Team participants described their skin as looking visibly revived, bright, lifted and plump. In particular, they reported waking up glowing and dewy, with deeper lines noticeably softened. As a result of this, members agreed they’d recommend the product to family and friends, plus continue to incorporate it into their routines at the commencement of the trial.
