Are you a sensitive soul?

Besides being beneficial for your skin and body, the big beautiful world of cosmetics is supposed to be fun and exciting and pampering – but for those of you who suffer from sensitive skin you’ll know it can be anything but.
Breaking out in random rashes from unidentifiable ingredients, putting up with irritated, stinging skin, struggling to overcome seemingly constant redness – it’s more of an added stress than an excitement!
Which is why, when new products come along for the sensitive sisters among us, we feel we have to shout out about it to help keep them clued up on all things calming and soothing.
BIODERMA is one brand that’s lending a massive helping hand to sensitive skin sufferers. Founded in France in 1977, BIODERMA has always believed that its products should not take over the skin’s job, but rather work with it to help it function correctly. As a result, BIODERMA’s skin care products use 100 per cent pure and natural active ingredients that all mimic the essential properties of the skin, making your skin less likely to react to the products.
Its star product is a multi-tasking maverick called Créaline H2O – a gentle daily cleansing and make-up removing water that’s specifically formulated for skin that’s very sensitive, intolerant or prone to redness. The secret is in the special non-rinse micellar solution: when you soak a cotton pad with Créaline H2O, micelles within the formulation fix to it. Then, when the cotton pad comes into contact with your skin, the micelles transform and open, capturing dirt, make-up and oils. Once these impurities are captured, the micelles close again, imprisoning them and carrying them away on the cotton pad. Your skin is left clean, fresh, hydrated and – most importantly – soothed and calmed.
Australia’s very own superstar, Kylie Minogue, loves the stuff: “Every time I go to Paris, I always get in a supply of the fabulous facial cleanser Créaline H2O from BIODERMA,” she says. “I don’t know anything more efficient or gentle to remove make-up.”
Supermodel, Gemma Ward agrees. “I buy this whenever I’m in Paris. It’s really gentle on your skin. I never use wipes, ever! Instead, I keep cotton balls and Créaline in the bag in my car so that I can remove my make-up straight after a show.”
Well the good news is you don’t have to fly to Paris to purchase, as BIODERMA is now available in Australia! So if you’re a sensitive skin sufferer or simply don’t want to risk causing irritation, then Créaline H2O could be the new saving grace that’s saving your face!

Usually my skin is fair and translucent. Not quite the radiant type, but my skin isn't usually something I worry about... until I have to change something in my skincare!

Yes i have very sensitive skin which seems to be getting worse with age! Very frustrating, especially when you buy brands that contain natural and organic products but contain essential oils which are more suited to oil burners than your face! They are usually there to make the product smell nice but the reaction I get aint pretty!

This cleanser seems good and it is a decent price as well. I am ok with most products but occasionally I will find a product that annoys my skin or causes some sort of reaction.

My skin tends to be super sensitive, I can tell if a company has changed how they make things! It is awful!

I never used to have sensitive skin but lately it has been pretty dry and irritated. Perhaps I've developed an allergy to something...

I'm a sensitive and also one easily sensitised left with redness etc. This is the first I have heard of this and like the sounds of it. I think a lot of people confuse organic and natural with being gentle, many essential oils and products in these can still cause iritation for some, thats where items like this would be handy :)

Thankfully my skin isn't overly sensitive. It definitely has it's moments where it can be, but overall it copes well with everything I put it through.

I used to suffer from allergies on my skin a lot, but I think this has calmed down over time. Which is fortunate because I love trying new things.

Luckily for me, my skin is pretty tolerant and I can use most products without irritation, however I do experience extreme itchiness and irritation if I shave my legs.

My skin is extremely sensitive and prone to eczema, so I have to be super careful what I put on my face! I do get SOME redness but nothing like rosacea or anything like that.
