How-to: Make an avocado face mask
Here at beautyheaven HQ, we LOVE avocado. Whether it’s in a delicious guacamole dip, smashed on toast or spread on crackers with crumbled fetta (is your mouth watering yet?), we can’t get enough of the stuff. And that’s just how we eat it. Avocados are a staple in our beauty routines, too!
Rich in antioxidants, monounsaturated fatty acids, and vitamins C and E, the green fruit is amazing for firming, hydrating and softening skin. It can also help to protect the skin from environmental damage and regenerate damaged skin cells.
Yep, it can work wonders in improving your skin’s health, so if you’re partial to a good face mask, watch our video above to learn how to whip up a nourishing avocado face mask. Plus, we’ve got a delish three-ingredient guacamole recipe you won’t be able to resist!
If you don’t feel like watching the video, check out the recipe below.

I wonder if the green offsets a tendency to redness

This sounds so good. Actually I’m preferring to do this than buy the Kheils version.

I've made avocado masks a few times. Before washing it off I use the skin of the avocado to exfoliate my face by rubbing it in circular motion over my face.

Will try this face mask soon... Looks quite appealing. At the moment I am obsessed with one ingredient and use it in most of my DIY face mask and that is Honey.. (it is super moisturizing and with regular use it brightens up your face)

Love these DIY's! I'm not a huge avocado fan, but I'm sure it would be a good face mask!

I would be more inclined to eat the avocado than put it on my face. The mask is something I should try sometime.

I just smudge avo on my face, olive oil is too heavy and I use lemon half as a loofah after in the shower anyways. Love ideas you give to all of us

At the current price of avocado I don't even buy them to eat - but this is a great way to use them when they are cheap.

Absolutely - the price is a killer right now. They're coming down just a little, but still very expensive.
