Desert island essentials

Say you find yourself channelling Jack Sparrow at any given moment, stranded on an – albeit – picturesque desert island, what beauty booty would you be whipping out an accio spell for?

We quizzed bh members and some bh staffers to see what topped their list of desert island essentials. As you’d expect, there’s a healthy balance between practical and downright indulgent. We wouldn’t want anything less!

I’m trying to limit myself because you did say essentials! I’d want: Blistex Lip Conditioner (I worship the stuff and reapply at least 15 times a day), sunscreen, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant which has multitude of uses, Maybelline New York Define-A-Lash Mascara (it was love at first application), Revitanail French Manicure Set (being shipwrecked means I’ll finally have the time to stick those fiddly little stickers on), a leave-in conditioning treatment that sprays on and contains a sunscreen – we think you’d like Matrix Biolage hydratherapie Daily Leave-In Tonic Abby – and, of course, a floppy hat, killer shades, a good book and a chilled bottle of sparkling – marooned in style! – Abby
