Cleansing wipes – do they work?

Ok, so I’m one of those lazy people who can’t be bothered to use cleanser twice a day. It’s easy enough to wash my face every morning in the shower, but at night I’m so exhausted I just crash straight into bed. I’ve seen that a number of brands have these cleansing wipes which they claim are a substitute for the whole cleanse/tone routine. Do they actually work? I’m talking in terms of better than nothing, here… 😛
Thanks,
Livvie.

Hi BQ, I have used the Simple wipes and I have really sensitive skin. They didn`t seem to do me much harm. 🙂

Hey girlies – wanted to pick your brains over wipes.

I have to go on a Duke of Ed camp this year, and we have 2 nights, 3 days – no showers!! Aaarghhhh!! I can survive without showers, but we are camping in some remote area with no sinks either!! My hair will have a batiste can, my body baby wipes – but I dont want to use them on my face. Would cleansing wipes work better?? The Simple or priceline wipes? Im going to look at reviews, but advice is appreciated.

My favourites are Biore deep pore cleansing wipes for rejuvenating and replenishing, and Neutrogena Rapid Clear cleansing wipes.

I don`t like the residue a lot of wipes can leave on your skin so I usually only use them when I am travelling.

I actually do hear that cleanser is definitely far better off than wipes. Prob wipes sud jz act as back-up.

My Sister swears my Johnson Baby Wipes and uses them morning and night.
I tried using them and my skin broke out so bad. It`s like all over beauty products out there. Some products work for some people, and for others they don`t. For me cleansing wipes are pointless and cause more problems.

I have been using The Faceshop`s Herb Day Lip and Eye remover wipes since a year ago. They can even use on face! They r $7 each pack with 30 sheets. They do a pretty great job so far. I had no problem with it.

But am tempting to switch (again!) to perhaps Shu Eumera Cleasing Oil (since its hassle free with remover PLUS cleaser!). Wat do u ladies think?

I have justs started using Nivea Visage Cleansing moisturising wipes. I find them very good for getting everything off except eye make-up. They leave my skin feeling clean and slightly moisturised, but the fact that they don`t remove alll of my eye make-up is a problem. On the positive side they come in a a small resealable pull pack which makes them ideal for travelling.

I know they aren`t great for my skin, but I tend to use them anyway!
I find the Johnsons 3in1 wipes are great, and I got a box for a bargain at Costco!
