6 new beauty products we can’t wait to get our mitts on

In case you haven’t noticed, there are a LOT of new beauty products on the market at the moment. And being the beauty obsessives we are, we couldn’t keep these bad boys to ourselves. They might not all be available Down Under (…yet), but that doesn’t mean we can’t still go crazy over them!

#1: Scunci Hair Tattoos

Don’t have the nerve to get a tattoo on your bod? Well, may I suggest popping one on your hair? Yes, temporary hair tattoos now exist (and we’re so into them).

Kylie Jenner’s also a big fan:

Apparently, the best way to apply them is on straight hair. The rest of the process is pretty similar to how you apply temporary tattoos to skin: Place it on your hair, press a damp cloth over it, and the tattoo will then adhere to your strands. It stays intact until you wash or brush it out. Pretty cool, huh?!

Available: At the moment, only in Ulta stores overseas. We’ll keep you posted though.

#2: RMS’ coco-nutty make-up remover wipes

If you’re as obsessed with all things coconut as us, you’ll LOVE the Beauty The Ultimate Makeup Remover Wipes. They’re packed with fatty acids, which help protect and rejuvenate the skin. Skin care in wipe-form may not be anything new, but the inclusion of coconut in these ones means they are a tropical delight.

Available: Online at rmsbeauty.com (they ship to Australia!)

#3: The Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani palette

Urban Decay fans will appreciate this sparkly eye-shadow palette. It features 15 of Stefani’s favourite shades, varying from highly-pigmented yellow and blue to more understated browns and beiges. Make-up doesn’t get much more badass than this!

Available: We’re still waiting for confirmation, but at this stage it looks like the palette will launch in-store on November 22 (just in time for Christmas).

#4: The Balmain x H&M perfume

TBH, I kind of don’t even care what this smells like, because the bottle is SOOO pretty. Still curious? Well, according to a release, the eau de parfum boasts top notes of tonka bean and white jasmine, with a musky cedar-and-sandalwood finish. For $39.99 a pop, it’s also pretty affordable compared to other perfumes.

Available: December 3, in-store at H&M.

#5: The highest-ranked tinted moisturiser right now

Last month, we shared the top 10 red nail polishes according to Rank & Style, but for summer, we can’t resist their top-ranked tinted moisturiser: The bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. It’s a winner for its rave online reviews, as well as its popularity among editors and consumers alike. #MustHave.

Available: Online at nordstrom.com

#6: Tyra Banks’ make-up remover wipes

Who said make-up remover wipes couldn’t be cool? The Tyra Beauty Pop It Clean Makeup Remover Wipes (from Tyra Banks’ new beauty line) is an unassuming plastic disk that erupts with full-size make-up wipes at the push of a button. Apparently they whisk away everything from mascara to full-on foundation. Oh, and the jack-in-the-box design means it’ll fit perfectly in your handbag.

Available: Not in Australia as yet (*sad face*), but there’s still hope, according to this memo from tyra.com:

“As of this time, TYRA beauty does not ship internationally or to any US territories except for Puerto Rico, but we want to get you Smizing!  Send an email to HelpMe@TYRA.com and tell us what countries you want TYRA beauty to spread our H2T (head-to-toe) beauty, business and badassery next.”
