Pure Active 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub and Mask Reviews

This product was a standard cleanser that kept my skin feeling relatively clear and did not break me out. It has very small microbeads that lightly exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells while also ensuring that the skin is not stripped dry. However, I find that the product has a very unpleasant smell that I find it difficult to get used to. The packaging is simple and there is a lot of product contained inside, which is a great advantage. As a mask, my skin did feel clear and fresh after every use but again, it felt like a standard mask and did not stand out particularly for me.

Overall, I would not say that this product is a must-buy and I do prefer the intensive charcoal version of this cleanser despite that one being messier as I felt that my skin was clearer and smells a lot nicer than this product.

I was given this product along with Garnier Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1 to trial out over a couple of weeks. Whilst using this product over a couple of weeks I can say it definitely has done wonders to my oily/acne prone skin!

The product comes in 150 ml tube packing. The soft tube is very convenient to use. The texture of this product is thick and creamy with tiny blue exfoliating beads. The scent is subtle and fresh, unlike other skin care products it's not over powering at all. You only need a small amount which is enough to apply to your face.

Since this product is intended to be used not just as a wash but also as a facial scrub and mask, I tried using it multiple ways but preferred using it as a mask. I would apply it generously to my entire face focusing on my t zone. I left it on for 15 minutes and washed it off to reveal fresh, soft and smooth skin.

Overall I've definitely seen an obviously appearance in my skin tone over the last couple of weeks. My red spots have slowly faded over time as well as the texture of my skin has become less rough/dry and a lot more subtle and smooth. I'm breaking out less around my skin and my skin has become less congested thanks to this beauty. Over continuous usage I feel that my skin will gradually improve my skin tone as well as purify and tighten my pores.

I do intend to repurchase this once I run out and I highly recommend this to those who are struggling with acne/congested skin. I really like how its a multitasking product. I'ts very convenient and handy especially when traveling and have limited space in your luggage!

This is a 3-in-1 cleaner that is meant for oily to combination skin that is prone to imperfection - i.e. it has my name written all over it (in theory).

It claims to eliminate excess oil, clears pores, eliminate dead skin cells, intensely purifies and eliminates impurities. There's a whole lot of eliminating, and I do love it!

However, results are still yet to be seen. I've broken out real bad in my chin area (I'm not blaming this cleanser, as I think it's a mix of stress and hormones), and I haven't seen any improvements after using this cleanser. I've also tried using it as a scrub and a mask and haven't seen any results worth throwing confetti and celebrating.

I also haven't really noticed a decrease in skin oiliness throughout the day. I still have to blot once or twice, as per usual.

I do like the smell of this cleanser and how cooling it feels on the skin (It was a God sent when I used it as a mask on that 40 degree day in Sydney this week), thanks to the menthol ingredient.

All in all, this cleanser hasn't worked for me as it claims, despite it sounding absolutely perfect for my skin type. Looks like it's back to the drawing board!

I was lucky enough to apart of the bh trial team for this product. It has a really fresh smell that isn't overwhelming at all. I loved how the scrubbing granules made my skin feel so soft and supple. I noticed that it really unclogged and tightened my pores. I have combination skin (oily T-zone, dry everywhere else) and it really seemed to control my oil yet it did not dry me out in my dry areas what so ever. I really love that it is a 3 in 1 product which means that once I run out I only have to purchase the one product. I love to use it as a mask the most as it seems to do a really good job of getting rid of any impurities that I have. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an excellent multi-tasker product!

I love the fact that this is 3 in 1. its perfect for people who tend to be a bit lazy with their skincare regimen (myself included), and leaves more space in your bathroom/shower due to needed less products!

I like using this in the shower in the morning; using it as a wash and exfoliator first, but then re-applying and leaving it on for 5-10 minutes as a mask!

I have surprisingly seen results from using this already! My skin is combination and i get blemishes often, but by using this they have really started to disappear and not come back as frequently!Usually i dont notice a change in my skin from many products, let alone ones for pimples/blemishes. I also noticed that my t-zone isn't as oily.

One thing i should mention though, is that my skin did feel quite tight after using this. I think thats because my cheeks are quite dry though, so this made them feel even more so! but after applying a serum or hydrating moisturiser my skin not only felt better, but much more smooth immediately!

I have had a break out lately so i was so excited to use this for two weeks and see some results.

I have always loved the scent of garniers products, and this one didn't fail! Beautiful botanical fresh scent.

If I use this product like a normal wash, it does a great job of it. It left my skin smooth and clean, but I would not recommend for taking make up off. Remove your makeup first.

As a scrub, I really worked it into the skin in circular motions, and with a very light touch of the fingertips so as to not scratch my skin. I was happy with it, it left my skin feeling exfoliated but not too red. It left a really fresh feeling on my skin. I recommend scrubbing twice a week and was happy using this twice a week, any more and my dry skin would have been damaged.

Thirdly, I used this as a mask, rubbed it into my damp skin and left it to sit and harden/dry for about 5/10 mins. I was really happy that it easily washed off, and it's a nice treat. Very convenient to have your cleanser work as a scrub. However, I don't think it aided very much in reducing acne. It contributed. So my conclusion is that used in all three ways, your cleanser will work best, and just keep the scrub and mask in light moderation.
After using this for the last two weeks I'm pretty impressed with how matte my skin appears after cleansing. It's not as oily as usual, especially considering it's summer!!

I'll recommend to friends that have slight breakouts.

The Garnier skin active 3 in 1, was an amazing product, it was so convenient using the same one product for multiple uses! I used it in the shower in the morning as a scrub then at night as a wash. And I tried it once a week as a mask! It had a pleasant smell, reminded me of fresh cucumber which was very refreshing. I have used this product Dailey and noticed a big difference in my skin, my skin tone has evened out, less blackheads and break outs! And just overall my complexion is 10 times better! It was so nice to use as a scrub and work the product into my face as I felt like I could feel it really working and getting into my pores! It left my skin feeling refreshed, smooth and not dry or oily like other scrubs. I will definitely be keeping this in my beauty routine! I can't believe I haven't tried this sooner! Thanks garnier!

I was lucky enough to trial out the Garnier pure active 3 in 1 which is a wash, scrub and mask in one. Instead of having to use three separate products, I can just use this handy tube to help with all of my skincare needs.

The scrub contains ingredients including eucalyptus extract, zinc and salicyic acid. The ingredients help with removing excess oil as well as exfoliating the skin and removing impurities. It also has the added benefit of helping with blemishes and clearing the pores. If your skin is anything like mine (oily and problematic) then you need this.

The tube contains a thick, white cream with actual pieces of pumice stone to help with removing dead skin. As a wash it was a bit thick so I only used a small amount and mixed it with a lot of water to thoroughly wash my face. As a scrub it was wonderful. It was the right texture, not too soft and not too rough. I could feel the grains of the pumice stone on my skin and it felt good that I was giving my face the exfoliation that it needed.

It had a cooling sensation on my skin, probably from the eucalyptus extract, that would really freshen and awaken my skin. I also used it as a mask and left it on for 10 min then washed it off. It contained white clay which helps with absorbing any impurities as well as soothing the skin. Any oil that was on my skin had been wiped clean and left my skin matte. I would use this before a night out so I know my skin would look good.

I was given the opportunity to test this product as part of the trial team, and whilst I am all about saving time in my skin care regime - I wasn't a huge fan of this product and think it may be suited more towards teenagers. This got such great reviews and I wanted so badly to love it, but I don't. The past year I've noticed that sulfate cleansers are really bad for my skin.

The product has a light texture that dissolves easily in water when you wash it away. You can see the tiny blue particles in it which makes this product suitable for scrubbing your face gently.

When using this product, I wet my face with warm water, apply the product to my face, use my fingers to massage in circular motion for few seconds and leave it on for around 3 minutes. Then I rinse with cool water.

I liked the mask and the product smells quite nice, sort of like cucumbers. The scrub and wash were great and rinsed off really well taking any residue makeup with it.

I do have sensitive skin so I did find it a little drying and I couldn't use it everyday but using it every second or third day was OK. I have recommended this product to my younger cousin who is a teenager so I think it will really help his skin too.
