Girls star Allison Williams revealed to Allure that she developed cystic acne as an adult, while shooting the hit HBO series. Cystic acne is the most severe form of acne and can often lead to scarring if not treated properly. Luckily, Allison was able to treat her condition with the prescription drug, Accutane.

She recently shared with Poosh that the condition is now affecting her joints and causing psoriatic arthritis in her hands. Unfortunately, Kim has yet to find a treatment that works. She developed a body foundation this year which was inspired by her struggle.

Solange Knowles

Apparently Solange Knowles sporadically breaks out in hives, including on her wedding day! Luckily the singer was a great sport and even posted a (now deleted) paparazzi shot of her on the big day with hives all over her face and neck, captioning it: “ “My favorite (and most true to myself) selfie lol.”
