John Plunkett’s Superfade

Has anyone used this before? I am about to take a break from my vit c and retin-a to use this for my freckles and acne scars. I just realised I bought the original cream to use on my face rather than the face cream – and its really greasy. Should I get the face cream or it doenst matter if I can put up with the feel of it? The pigmentation in scattered all over my face so can I use it all over? -will it fade my whole face or just the pigmentation? Tx beauties!

Tanias1 i think you should try and use it the 3 times a day when you can. And then bring it down to twice a day when you are happy with your results. Then to once day. :))

I was interested in this ever since I read the skin type solutions book, as it was recommended for my skin type, but I have just started a new skincare regime so I don`t think it is necessary atm, I would love to hear other peoples views on is though as I might end up trying it some time in the future 🙂

Thanks ladies 🙂 Yeah I just applied it again section by section and used less and its bearable now. I guess its only for a few months and I now the results will be worth it. Do you think using it just once or twice a day will be enough for the same results in 2 months or should I do 3 times? I will look into Olay definity after I give this a try.

Tanias1 John Plunketts` Superfade is a great product if used correctly.

Stick it out with the Oringal cream if you can. There is not much difference between the two. And you can use it up to 3 times a day. Moring afternoon then before bed.
i recommend you only apply it to the affected areas. It will take a good 6-8 weeks to see the difference. My grandmother has used this product for skin sopts on her body and she swears by it.

    Goodluck :))

I use the superfade, but found it too greasy to wear during the daytime with moisturiser & makeup on top, so now only use at night. I rub it in all over my face, let it sit for a bit whilst I do other stuff then add my night-time moisturiser on top – otherwise I find my skin to feel a bit on the dry side with just the superfade on it`s own.

I think it initially seemed to fade some of the freckles on my face – and I was pleased, but then I started using the Olay Definity range & definitely saw a difference. Olay faded the freckles better but i wasn`t keen on the foaming moisturiser itself.

I`d be happy to try the John Plunket Superfade SPF day moisturiser but I`m thinking it might be too heavy for my oily/combo skin – so have held off buying it for the time being
