Andalou for Sensitive Skin?

Wondering your thoughts on the effectiveness of Andalou products and is the Rose’s range good for those with sensitive skin? I’m prone to redness, rosacea and my skin can become blotchy if I use products that are harsh even natural ones. Would love some feedback 🙂

I’ve tried some stuff from Andalou’s 1000 Roses (Sensitive) range – namely the facial mist, night moisturiser, a sheet mask + a clay mask – and can confirm that it’s a bit hit & miss.

I’m a major fan of the facial mist as it feels lovely on the skin, but I wasn’t a fan of the night moisturiser as I found it wasn’t nourishing enough for my skin. The sheet mask was meh, as was the clay mask (although that clay mask did smell nice, from memory – certainly smells better than the purple clay mask, which I don’t think we have in Oz).

I have sensitive skin that’s prone to redness and possible rosacea, so I hope that helps. (Although I’m also a combination skin type too.)

I haven’t tried this product but from what I’ve read so far, I feel like I should give it a try.

readingwishes, your question may have your answer: “I’m prone to redness, rosacea and my skin can become blotchy if I use products that are harsh even natural ones.”

You could buy the Andalou Naturals Get Started Kit – Sensitive. Even better would be for you to wait until Priceline or Nourished Life has the set on sale:

Nourished Life has reviews which might help you decide upon products you are thinking about getting, but what causes a reaction in one person may/may not cause a reaction with your skin. Nourished Life has other brands that might suit your skin better such as Pai which are designed for sensitive skin:

I also recommend Adore Beauty’s customer service for product recommendations:

Sukin has products for people with sensitive skin. Someone I know that has extremely reactive skin (not rosacea) has had success with some of the following products:

I haven’t tried the roses range, but I’ve tried a few products from Andalou, mainly from their coconut/firming skin line and I really liked it. It was quite gentle and refreshing, I would say it was more aimed at dehydrated skin than for ‘firming’ purposes. Nonetheless, it was a good introduction and first impression to Andalou.

Rosacea is tricky. I would make sure to stay away from products with too many essential oils as that could be irritating your skin with some of the more ‘natural’ products out there.
