Face masks for hydration, glow and extra dewiness are all the rage right now, but if you have oily skin you probably don’t need any extra help in the shine department.
Masks can do a lot more than add radiance, but you have to make sure you’re shopping for your skin type. Face masks that use words like balancing, tightening, clarifying or purifying are probably more up your alley, and will be able to help absorb any excess oil while also improving the appearance of pores and blemishes.
Luckily for us, there’s no shortage of masks that are perfect for oily skin, so we rounded up some of our favourites.

Huge fan of the body shop masks, must get my hands on this seaweed mask.
Would like to try the Essano Clarifying Clay Masque and the Caudalie Pore Tightening Memory Sleeping Mask, sounds great as well.
Have that Essano mask. Does really nothing much to my skin. But …just today used Sand & Sky exfoliator (scrubbed well, left on 10ish min) then followed immediately with their pink clay mask (ugh the tingles!) left on 10 min, sprayed with rosewater to rehydrate, left on again 10ish min. OMG….this works! Pores flattened to oblivion, skin sooo glowy and smooth…DED! Oil, what oil?! 0_0
Also loving Generation Clay Purple clay mask.

Oily skin isn’t an issue for me. I’ve recently switched to Ren skincare and I’m really liking it so far.
The Shea Moisture mask is awesome. It smells divine for a start. I love using this one.

I have excess oil and regularly use clay masks as part of my skincare routine. The endota spa clay mask sounds amazing! I love their products so much!
These look great. As my skin is not so oily I like a clarifying mask only now and then and if I slept in my makeup. Eeek! Still do it but not often!
Hmm essano is half price at Coles this week. Tempting.
I would love to try the Dr Dennis Gross one, but might use the Essano one instead because its more affordable.

I love a good face mask where oil dots appear in the t zone. Those are so satisfying.
I just bought and tried The Body Shop's seaweed mask and my skin feels wonderful. A little tingly, but soft and smooth.

My skin isn't oily but I enjoy using a clay mask, using some Sukin ones at the moment.
I do like a clay mask but I don't have oily skin so only use a mask infrequently, when I think of it. My preferred mask is one with cucumber.
I don't have oily skin but like clay masks for clarifying. I like the ones that don't dry out as they feel quite harsh

You really can't go wrong with a clay or charcoal mask. The absolute best one I ever tried was Life Basics pure green clay mask, with the Kiehl's rare earth a close second.
I don't use drying clay mask often anymore. But lately been enjoying non-drying clay masks
