Essano Argan Oil Recovery Hair Mask

Essano Argan Oil Recovery Hair Mask gets deep into the hair cuticle with its blend of oils and vitamins to deeply moisturise, repair and protect hair against any future damage.

I came across this product after I bleached my hair, dyed and toned it to blonde (keep in mind that I am naturally black. My hair was dry, brittle, breaking everywhere and overall just very very weak and unhealthy. After using several other products from the organ range I decided to give this a go. I have used many hair masks before but I have to say this has to be one of the best, my hair felt amazing, it obviously couldn’t undo the breakage or the split ends but it definitely left it looking more hydrated and stronger so I would be less prone to breakage and split ends.” – bh member joannachiem.

De Lorenzo Equilibrium masque

De Lorenzo Equilibrium masque is a deep conditioning treatment enriched with organic rosehip oil, vitamins A and C and oat peptides to repair hair and give it back its shine.

This is probably one of the hair treatments that I have used consistently for over 10 years. I love that it isn’t too expensive to buy a big tub and that I can see real results after each time I use it. I have bleached hair, it’s super parched and dry and damage just comes with the colour. I shampoo my hair and towel dry it. I apply the mask, pop my hair into a bun and leave it on for a few hours, to really give my hair a good drink. It smells beautiful and it spreads through my hair so nicely. When I wash it out my hair just feels like silk. Brushing it is so easy and when it air dries my hair just has a nice wave and curl instead of just being a fried frizz ball. I would recommend it to anyone with damaged hair. You will definitely notice the difference.” – bh member Karlie 361.

Pureology Hydrate Superfood Treatment has been formulated especially for colour-treated hair. Containing a blend of avocado oil and coconut oil to promote shine and hydration, as well as full spectrum UVA and UVB sunscreen to preserve colour and prevent sun damage.

I really love this treatment! It is a super thick off white hair treatment that you apply after shampoo and conditioner, if you wish, or just used in place of conditioner. I love that it’s nice and thick so I can take a minute or two to really work it through my ends without it running all over the place. The smell is pleasant, but not overpowering like some hair products.” – bh member Lucrecia629

bhave Deep Intense Conditioning Masque

bhave Deep Intense Conditioning Masque has been enriched with bio-active keratin technology to rebuild the internal structure of the hair and restore strength and elasticity to damaged locks.

I had used this mask when I went overseas and it was incredible for my hair. I was out in the sun almost everyday on this trip as well as spending time in the ocean. The combination of sun plus sea salt made my hair really dry. I used the Bhave deep intense masque at least once a week to keep my strands in tip top shape and it was great. My hair instantly felt so smooth, hydrated and soft. It had detangled my hair which made it easy to run my hands through and even easier to brush. For the rest of the week my hair would look great. It gave my hair shine and it looked very healthy!” – bh member Miss19.

  1. My Hair gets a regular weekly mask and thanks me for it.
Ive tried so many and love to trial single sachets to see what the result will be before I out lay for a full size tub.
I really like L'Oreal Hair products at the moment.

  2. Right now I am using OGX renewing argan oil deep conditioner/mask. I do use it as a mask, just leave it in for an hour or so on dry hair, nicely wrapped up:)
It is a great product, love it.

But I have an allergy to linalool and limonene. Can someone pretty please, suggest something that I could substitute it with? Something with no linalool and limonene. At this point I'd even use something with limonene, it is getting really hard to find products that are awesome and don't make me itch. Even choice is make-up is severely limited. Even foundation has linalool in it O_o

  3. I hear you!!!
I am allergic to Limonene and Linalool. They are in everything that has any sort of scent!
Both are literally in EVERYTHING. You name it: soap, make-up, hand wash, hair sprays (hell nearly ALL hair styling products), shampoo, conditioner and of course hair masks.

So for me it's a matter of trying to buy something that doesn't set off allergies. Right now I am using OGX renewing argan oil deep conditioner/mask. It is a great product, love it. But again, I use a different shampoo on my head to this OGX product. Fun times…
    hahaha

  4. I’ve never tried any of these products. I like Eleven Australia Miracle Hair Treatment. I’ve been using it on and off for years. It’s a detangler, mask, protectant etc all in one. It has a lovely coconut scent.

  5. I really dont use hair masques any where near as often as i should. I have a few sitting there in my bathroom and I need to start looking after my hair and actually using them.

  6. I definitely need to be more consistent with hair masks, have a few in my bathroom that I use. In summer doing lots of swimming/being outdoors I notice a difference when I use masks

  7. These all sound good but I feel like my frizziness is part of my hair's 'personality' rather than due to external factors. Maybe I just haven't found the right products yet (and I've tried a lot!), my stash probably has the perfect product – time for a sort through and try. Anything I don't like can make an appearance at a post-event coffee meet!

  8. Must give a hair mask a try. I've never used one as I thought they'd weigh my hair down and make it look flat. My hair is so frizzy from damage this summer that a hair mask might be the only savior.
