Event details:

  • Date: Saturday 14 October 2017
  • Time: 10am-2pm
  • Location: Ivy Sunroom, Level 3, 330 George St, Sydney CBD
  • Dress code: Smart-casual with a bright lip.

Pen the date and details into your diary, pop it in your work calendar, in the calendar on your phone, write a note and put it on your fridge – whatever you’ve got to do to remember, do that!

Tip: Download a countdown timer app to your phone and save it as your screensaver :).

ABOUT THE DAY

As there’s so much fun to be had, the event will run on a tight schedule! Out of respect to fellow members and the bh team, please arrive on time and avoid leaving early.  

WHAT TO BRING

There isn’t a dedicated cloak or luggage room so please bring as little as possible (of course if it’s raining we will sort a place for raincoats and umbrellas). Plus, we can’t guarantee that you’ll leave empty handed, so you may need those hands of yours to carry other things.

No – applications to bring a plus one have now closed.  People who are not beautyheaven members, and whose names are not on the list will not be allowed to enter the event.

ABOUT THE FOOD & BEVERAGES

Finger food will be served throughout the event. The menu does not cater to every specific allergy, so if you have allergies, please ask the waiter what is in the food before eating it. There will be options for you if you are gluten-free, vegetarian etc.

WHAT IF I CAN’T COME ANYMORE?

Please email stephanie@beautyheaven.com.au ASAP. Much of the day’s planning and catering is to specific numbers so as much notice as possible is preferable.

IS MY INVITE TRANSFERABLE?

No, it is not transferable in any way. If you can no longer attend, please see Q&A above.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

The address is: Ivy Sunroom, Level 3, 330 George St, Sydney CBD.

If you are coming by car

Located at 330 George Street, there are various Secure Parking stations close to the venue.

If you are coming by train

The closest station is Wynyard Station, take the George Street exit, turn right and cross the street at the pedestrian lights. Palings Lane is between Bailey Nelson and Peter Alexander.

If you are coming by ferry

Ivy is a 15min walk from Circular Quay wharf. Once you arrive at Circular Quay, turn right and walk up 750m to George Street. Turn left onto George Street and walk until you reach 330. Turn left onto Palings Lane. At the end of the lane, turn to the right and go up the stairs to arrive at Ivy bar. View ferry timetables.

EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERS

This is the largest event bh has ever held and we want it to be as fun, special and memorable as possible for every person attending. So please:

  • Arrive on time
  • Be patient and supportive of the bh team and especially to your fellow bh community members.
  • Bring your best attitude and be friendly and kind to all. If you see someone on their own, say ‘Hi’ or invite them into your conversation. If someone wins an award, cheer for them. If someone needs help and you have the answer, share it! You get the idea :).

ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA

We will be filming the event to share snippets of the day here on beautyheaven.com.au.

We will also be covering the event live, via Facebook LIVE, and bh team members will walking around hosting the event for those at home, showing what’s going on and possibly asking you for a quick chat (it’ll be as if you’re a celebrity on the red carpet!).

As at every beautyheaven event, upon entry you will be required to sign a waiver form that gives your permission for you to feature in these media formats.

You’re welcome to share your experience on social media – we will be using the hashtag #beautyheaventurns10 and would love to do the same. In fact, stay tuned as there could be prizes for those who take part and use the hashtag!

That said, please don’t let it detract from the precious in-person time will all be sharing together.
