Vitamin C serum

I used to buy my Vitamin C serum in the US where everything is so much less money. I need to buy a new bottle and am overwhelmed by choice and gobsmacked at price. I have had recommended to me Osmosis which is quite dear, Obagi, Alpha-H, SkinCeuticals and SkinMedica. Can anyone tell me their opinion on any of the ones I’ve mentioned, and/or, better, do you know of any not so pricey Vitamin C serums that you think are great? If so, where to buy in Melbourne? Thanks.

I’ve reported the previous post by alien 120 as spam. Please don’t click on the blue link.

EDIT: I’ve reported the previous spam post by Reenachopra. It wouldn’t surprise me if both these usernames were the same person.

alien 20 has been at it again overnight Petal and up to 4 posts. I wonder if Justin286 is also the same person – another overnight spam post right before.

You’ll never be out of a job!

Kassalee, thank you so much for looking out for me and my spam-fighting efforts! I vaguely recall another spammer with the word “”alien”” in their username – it`s probably the same person but with a slightly different name.

        ❤️❤️❤️

I really feel for you Petal and sometimes wish I had more time to actively join you in your spam fighting efforts.

At other times I wonder if it’s fighting a losing battle! Are Bh onto removing it promptly? Some of these links could do harm if they contain a virus and most of us on here are savvy enough to know not to click on them

There’s not a lot of activity on the forums lately, with the spammers (including those harmless random comments) beginning to dominate the forums!

I think someone else already posted a link to the forum post about vit c and everyone’s experiences but take the time to read the article I’ve linked by Beauty Brains website, especially the comments because it’s really helpful and written in easy to understand wording but the people are qualified scientists:

Tells you what to look for and what to avoid.

I’ve been interested in Vitamin C myself, all I know is that Vitamin C is an unstable ingredient if not made and stored correctly. Sometimes it can be completely useless by the time it reaches you. So I haven’t bothered purchasing anything yet until I have confidence in the product I end up purchasing.

If you want to know and understand more about Vitamin C, I’ve copied and pasted a link to a BH members recent blog post I saw from the ‘Just Blogged’ thread here on BH. Her BH username is Feliciabardan and her blog is called Beauty and the Geek.

She talks about Vitamin C in her blog and has a few recommendations if you’re interested.
