Look younger with very little effort

Tired of looking, well, tired? Ditch all things invasive and go for a different kind of secret weapon – beauty products!
Try these tricks for looking younger with next to no effort…
PLUMP LINES THE SNEAKY WAY
Nothing gives away your age quicker than lines and wrinkles around the eye area. While there’s no magic wand for erasing those telltale lines (a girl can dream!), there are loads of products out there that work to temporarily plump out wrinkles. So, what’s the secret ingredient? Bee venom: it tricks your skin into thinking it’s been lightly stung, plumping and firming it in the process. Genius!

CHANGE YOUR PART
Have you been rocking a centre part for ages? Or a deep side one? It’s time to switch it up! Instead, try a slightly off-centre part – it will help to draw attention to your eyes and cheekbones, while softening the appearance of your face. To really mix it up, go for a zig-zag part down the centre to make your hair look fuller at the roots. Win!
WHITEN YOUR SMILE
As the years go by, our teeth can become discoloured, so get that pearly sheen back with a brightening and whitening product. Simply swap your regular toothpaste for a whitening one that will make your smile more vibrant over time.

HIDE GREYS
Don’t you just wish that when you coloured your roots, you hair would grow out that exact same colour, making greys a thing of the past? Unfortunately, until that technology is invented, you’ll have to resort to colouring your roots on the regular. In between visits to your colourist, touch up greys with a spritz of root concealer or a coloured hair mascara. It’ll instant hide greys and buy you time until your next appointment.

BRIGHTEN YOUR EYES
If you have dark circles underneath your eyes, you’ll know how tired they make you look – even when you’re feeling fresh as a daisy! Cheat your way to brighter, wide-awake eyes by adding a brightening and illuminating concealer to your daily beauty routine. Using your ring finger, dab three dots of the concealer about a centimetre underneath your eye, and gradually dab it into your skin, all the way up to your lashline. Hey there, bright eyes!

HANDLE YOUR HANDS
You’re probably using anti-ageing skin care products to keep your skin looking as youthful as possible, but what about your hands? Without the same TLC, they can instantly give away your age. Stash an anti-ageing hand cream into your handbag to instantly plump and smooth lines. If you tend to keep your nails bare or stick to nudes or neutral colours, pretty up your mani with a slick of vibrant red polish.

I think another easy way to look younger is to lighten up the amount of make up. Natural looking makeup makes you look younger, don't you think?

I have been using korean skincare products with snail secretions in it and I love the way it smooths out my skin on application. I also wish to try the bee venom products.

It would be great to see more grey hair covering products that are tailored to blond hair, as I would be willing to try some. I also love the sound of the bee venom product. I try to use sunscreen regularly as part of my beauty routine as I believe that is one of the key anti ageing products.

I'd recommend making sure you look after your neck & decollete areas, as they can give away your age very easily

Some good tips here. Have any other good recommendations for under eye concealer? I have yet to find one that suits me. They are either too dry and patchy on my skin or just accentuate fine lines and make me look older.

The point about hands is spot on, I have seen so many lovely cared for faces and the hands were so neglected! Have to be fussy with mine as they are a big part of my job, I always include my hands in my routine

The Bee Venom sounds interesting. I'm getting very, very fine lines under my eyes. I recently stopped parting my hair the same way and I've been using a whitening toothpaste once a day. I've finally gotten a concealer routine for my eyes so I don't look like a zombie. I recently discovered hair mascara so now my few grey hairs will be sorted :) I also finally ordered an anti-aging hand cream. I can't wait to get it.

Although aging isn't really an issue for me at the moment, i must say that I've seen a lot of women who obviously take good care of their faces but really neglect their hands. Hands age and need care just as much as your faces do!
