Kate Hudson debuts beauty and wellness line

Off-screen Kate Hudson is no stranger to the beauty and wellness industry, after launching personalised activewear membership brand, Fabletics, back in 2013. And now,  she’s taking on skin care, but not as you know it.

Revealing her latest venture to the world the only way we receive any big announcements these days, via Zoom, Kate has released five different beauty supplement powders under new brand, InBloom.

Dialling in to her Zoom interview from her home in Aspen (where she has been quarantining with her family), Kate revealed InBloom was born from her disdain towards taking pills and her overwhelming urge for people to be in the best health possible, “I wanted to create a powder without synthetic additives, using only premium ingredients. Especially right now, it feels more important to give our bodies vitamins for optimum health and immunity,” she said.

Each of the five powders – Essential Elements, Beauty Aura, Brain Flow, Energy Shift and Dream Sleep are 100 per cent plant-derived and gluten-free and all provide their own individual health benefits. However, one thing you can expect to gain from any of the five powders are the skin care benefits that come from an improved gut function and ingredients like marine collagen.

A big believer that healthy skin is an inside job, Kate said, “good skin starts with sleep and water” adding “if you’re stressed and you’re not sleeping, your cortisol levels rise, your hormones are all over the place and that’s terrible for your skin and health in general; there’s no moisturiser on the market that’s going to fix it”.

With the powder providing benefits for our gut health as well as our hair, skin and nails, Kate also reminds us of the important link these factors have on our mental wellbeing, “wellness is a huge part of our mental health.”

And in a message we all need to regularly hear, Kate’s mission behind InBloom is to invest in our bodies and show them the love they deserve as she says “right now, we need to be kind to ourselves”.

  1. I prefer actual whole plant foods. Why dehydrate and powder them since I can get them whole with all the goodness =D (Love Australia, all year long we can get the freshest everything !)

  2. wow….seems to be the thing with these celebs now. Move into the beauty industry as well. I guess thats a good plan for the females especially as roles dry up as the woman ages. Kinda ironic if you think about it.

  3. I would prefer my diet provides what I need but I see the role of supplements. However, celebrity endorsement doesn’t work for me – did she really “create” it? Somehow I doubt it.

  4. I really like her, but I ever feel supplements help my skin in anyway. I used to take supplement pre-pregnancy but I didn’t feel my skin was any better. Now, I don’t take any supplements and my skin is glowing because (I think) I’ve discovered ceramides and retinoI
