SWITCH UP YOUR PART

SNOOZE THE RIGHT WAY
If you tend to sleep on your side or facedown, the same areas of your face are squished against your pillow night after night, which can lead to the development of lines and wrinkles. Try your best to sleep on your back, and if you wake up on your side or stomach, flip over to give your skin a break. Also, sleep on a silk pillowcase to avoid getting crease marks on your skin. It’ll do wonders for your hair, too!

Another helpful tip is to never tie your hair up when it’s wet, as this can cause friction on the elastic band and lead to breakage.

No, we don’t mean the facials you get at the salon, because those are ah-mazing for looking younger for longer. We’re talking about facial expressions. Squinting, frowning and pouting can all result in fine lines and wrinkles forming around your eyes and lips – so turn that frown upside down, girl!
NAIL YOUR VITAMIN C INTAKE
“Vitamin C is your anti-ageing weapon!” says Kate Save, Nature’s Own Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist. “It acts as an antioxidant to prevent damage to the skin’s collagen or elastin caused by overexposure to sun or pollution.” Munch on vitamin C-rich foods like citrus fruits, red and green capsicum, turnips, kale, parsley, broccoli, dark leafy greens and strawberries to boost your skin’s health.
You’ve heard it before and we’ll never stop saying it – guzzling H2O is vital for healthy, glowing and youthful-looking skin. Try to drink at least two litres of water a day to keep your hydration levels up, and if regular water bores you, add fresh berries or fresh cucumber or orange slices for a flavour hit.
