Hey congrats on your win! But I had to google you to find out that you represent Bioderma :)
Thanks for doing that research for us. I didn't know who the comment was from either :)
Congrats Bioderma and La Roche Posay :-)
Congrats to the winners! I want to grab some of that Neutrogena Sheer Zinc SPF50 and try it out for myself! Sounds great and I'm always looking for great SPF products.
Highly highly recommend the Dermalogica SPF50, its not greasy or thick like a high SPF might usually be, great for under make up and every day. water resistant too for beach days. I love it and my teenage son uses it too before school (on face)
And FYI there is someone from R & D commenting on everyones comments about how great it is and pretty much spamming BH
Big spammer that one. And I wonder why all spammers are bronze... oh maybe because they are just here to spam with no other genuine contributions to the site?
Yeah they seem to have got all their consultants to join and vote and apparently did a big social media campaign.
It is such a shame, I really respect the glosscars and it feels like they just hijacked it for the rest of us. Maybe next year they need to restrict voting to gold members and above or something to keep the voting as members who use the site would suggest.
No idea how many distributors, consultants, agents or whatever they have may have joined bh to vote - sounds like a well executed plan to win!
Rodan + Fields and their consultants probably perceive all of their Glosscars awards as a massive success. However, lots of BH members are now suspicious of the company, so their so-called success has damaged the brand's reputation.
I guarantee Rodan and Fields told everyone to vote for them on here which is why they won almost every category.
Its also strange that there is no reviews of any r&f products that won the glosscars. Makes me wonder!
Who is Rodan and Fields - And why have they won 11/19 skincare categories?
I have never even heard of rodan and fields, and it seems like not many other commenters have either? Maybe they should come to a bh event or do a trial because its just a massive turn off the brand them winning all these categories when no one knows them! Great that my all time fave la roche posay scored a few though.
I’m not a consultant for R + F, but I voted for the eye cream in this category because I really think it’s one of the best eye creams I’ve ever used and it’s become a big fave for me. I am deeply suspicious about the number of their products that won though...
I am an R+F Consultant but didn’t cast my vote to be fair. Just happy you loved the eye cream as I do use it too and loved it! I have used all the products within Australia market range and found good results for all products but not too much on the Soothe regimen yet. But this is my personal experience and may vary for each skin type so I couldn’t speak for many.
We haven’t been asked to vote etc but now that I have registered with bh and read through the comments, I am a bit sad to know that a strategy might have been made by other teams to outnumber other brands.
Wow almost a clean sweep by Rodan & Fields.
Ooh would definitely try the body shop matcha tea mask, sounds like that would feel so nice on the skin
I remember when Sukin took it out last year and it was a bit of a shock too! But it made me try one product of there's. from the Supergreen range . I wish it was a more natural win
Oh my, seems like social media and all the R & F consultants got busy and voted, not sure I agree with their clean sweep given the pushy, spamming behaviour of them all over social media and here on BH, big no from me.
The consultants may seem pushy because they're excited because the products work and make you feel wonderful. And yes, there is a fantastic business opportunity behind it, that most brands don't offer.
If the products worked, there would be more reviews.. BUT, there's not even one!
Yet here you are spamming and reinforcing the negative view many have on R&F, you’ve spammed so many times so far in this comments section. Good brands products speak for themselves they don’t have to spam forums with consultants overly gushing which just makes most people say NO, smacks of “snake oil” sales tactics
Completely agree, duality!!
Well said duality!!
