As an independent consultant I do love the R&F products - jumped on board for this reason. What comcerns me however is whether the results of the “awards” are legit given some of the comments re spamming the site. Like any skincare products they might not suit everyone. Ultimately the industry is flooded with skin care products. I have a few regular repeat customers who love the range however most people I speak to about the range are hesitant to try it and are happy with their current akin care - and that is fine. I don’t doubt they are worthy of many of these awards - or would not have joined - but would qustion the validity this result so early on in the piece - and current market penetration in Aus (which I am not privvy to but can’t expect it high enough as yet for these accolades) ... now this is where I wait for other consultants to try tear me down for my comment ...
Thankyou for your honest comment. Honest and open is preferred over smarmy and deception.
As a brand embassador for Rodan + Fields, I am thrilled that our company is earning recognition in Australia. Rodan + Fields was ranked #4 for Anti-Aging Premium Skincare in the States when I began sharing these products. .. behind Estee Lauded, Clinique, and Neutrogena. We have been ranked #1 in Anti-Aging and #1 in Acne for the past two years now in the States. Recently being #1 in Canada in 2017. Created by the ProActiv dermatologists, Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields, Rodan + Fields is quickly becoming a industry disruptor and I and proud to be apart of creating a legacy for my children.
Interesting how once again we have a whole category taken over by a brand sold by consultants. Doesn't exactly make me want to run out and buy the brand especially when you click on the products and check the reviews and many of them have very few reviews most of which are very negative. Wonder when this issue is ever going to change.
But didn’t Estee Lauder bought Rodan + Fields earlier in the years? They KNEW that these two dermatologists are geniuses with their creation. They were also the makers of Proactiv and up until now many people with acne problem had used the products. And these two dermatologists bought their creation back.
I am a huge fan of the Ultraceuticals and Aspect Dr skincare ranges. Clinically proven to work.
What the!? Never heard of R +F!
Hey there, I can tell you more about RF since I’m a rep if you like :)
List of worthy and trusted winning brands that may be lost amongst the other "winning" brand.
The Body Shop
Don't forget Alpha H and asap!
Many months ago there was a form for a free sample, I filled it out with details and skin concerns etc, but they never replied or sent the sample to try.
Glosscars to me is the real people on the BH community voting, not just consultants spamming their customers, that's not real voting
I love see brands like Bioderma, Neutragena, Triology, Clinique etc etc
As Rodan is very new to this country, it's not the best way to behave when people reading it either may have not heard of the brand or may come to BH to read what people really think of it
I've heard some unflattering things about Rodan + Fields and nothing good from people I trust
Yep. Just look at the lawsuits filed against them and awarded!!
I've just read reviews on other forums about R&F products, their sales methods, and their customer service . Not good! I'm disappointed that our Glosscar Awards 2018 have been hijacked. There are so many beautiful and sensibly priced products on the market, so why would anyone buy these very expensive products that are reported to have carcinogens in them. Before buying any product I would read the list of ingredients first.
Nope won’t be trying R+F unless someone I know who can’t hide their identity and has been using it awhile can give me a recommendation ie friend or family. I guess that’s what happens when you pretend to be someone you’re not. You put enough doubt into people’s mind and they have to second guess motives.
I think the voting for silver or gold members only is a good idea. Having a minimum length of time of membership won’t work because all they will do is stay dormant on the bronze membership then pop up at award time.
Like other members I am really disappointed that this category has been so blatantly manipulated - it’s defintely put me off Rodan & Fields! Will never buy their products!
Same!! I have a sample pack in the cupboard but doubt I'll ever use it now!!
Due to how some of their consultants spammed the BH forums (before the brand joined this website), spammed this skin care category, and hijacked the Glosscars awards, they have done major damage to the brand's profile.
I'm curious to try R&F to see whether they're worth all the hype :-)
I have been using the R+F Redefine products since September 2017 and I love it.
I’m 50 and my skin has never looked better or healthier and my fine lines have diminished significantly
Have used many skincare brands previously and this is the first I have come across with a 60day money back guarantee, not that I would need to use it of course?
