8 of the best: pore minimising must-haves

Large, clogged facial pores are no-one’s friend. They’re the rough terrain that causes our complexions to look aged, foundation to slide off, blackheads to build up, and our skin to look anything but smooth and velvety. Luckily, you can get rid of large pores with a few pore minimising products. Which means you'll be able to flaunt tighter, smoother skin in no time...
RELATED: Everything you need to know about clogged pores
“After applying the primer to my nose and chin where I do struggle with quite visible pores, I do notice a difference in their appearance. They seem to not be completely vanished, but appear to be smaller in size and 'concealed' or smoothed over, making them less noticeable. My skin was left feeling much more smoother and softer. My foundation just glided onto my skin with such ease that I have not experienced with other primers in the past. My foundation was much more easier to blend, much smoother, and it did not feel as though the foundation was settling into my pores and clogging them. The primer allowed my makeup to stay in place throughout the day and definitely made my foundation stay on longer without needing to be reapplied, which was fantastic.”

I love Porefessional! It's definitely my holy grail primer - smooths, soothes and grips, all at once!

I don't use primer much and don't really have a pores problem. I just cleanse regularly, sometimes using an exfoliating scrub or clay mask, and use cool water afterward to close the pores. Wearing good moisturises and avoiding lots of foundation helps too.

A good toner helps too and regular exfoliation and a good clay mask really help with clearing out the pores

The POREfessional was okay, but I suspected it was drying out my skin which is already dry. I think that the product is more suitable for oily/combination skin. Also, it didn't do much in the way of minimising the larger pores on my face.

Never really been a fan of primers, either didn't give me the results they claimed to or wasted my time. Although always wanted to try 'Benefit The POREfessional' since I saw it at Sephora in Europe a few years back. Haven't used Benefit products before but this one sounds really good!

Definitely something I struggle with; however I haven't found any primer to offer a solution. It tends to cause my make-up to slide off rather than stay better or smoother or longer! :(
