8 of the best: pore minimising must-haves

Large, clogged facial pores are no-one’s friend. They’re the rough terrain that causes our complexions to look aged, foundation to slide off, blackheads to build up, and our skin to look anything but smooth and velvety. Luckily, you can get rid of large pores with a few pore minimising products. Which means you'll be able to flaunt tighter, smoother skin in no time...
RELATED: Everything you need to know about clogged pores
“After applying the primer to my nose and chin where I do struggle with quite visible pores, I do notice a difference in their appearance. They seem to not be completely vanished, but appear to be smaller in size and 'concealed' or smoothed over, making them less noticeable. My skin was left feeling much more smoother and softer. My foundation just glided onto my skin with such ease that I have not experienced with other primers in the past. My foundation was much more easier to blend, much smoother, and it did not feel as though the foundation was settling into my pores and clogging them. The primer allowed my makeup to stay in place throughout the day and definitely made my foundation stay on longer without needing to be reapplied, which was fantastic.”

Benefit's porefessional is really good. Smooths your whole face, making pores less visible when you put makeup on top.

I finally bought Benefit The POREfessional as they had a mini for $20 at Sephora. Still not too sure about how "amazing" it's supposed to be, so I'm glad I didn't buy the full size tube! I'm trying to put off botox as long as I can so I really want something that will 'fill in' forehead fine lines and also work for pores...

I really do like the porefessional but it is a bit pricy for everyday use.

I tried Benefit The POREfessional. It did increase the longevity of some of my foundations that wore away quickly, but it didn't reduce the size of my larger pores on my cheeks and nose. Maybe it works better for people with oily/combination skin (mine is dry). Also, POREfessional started to dry my skin out slightly.

I really need to finally give these a go! My pores aren't THAT bad, but could always be smaller and tighter!

Benefit Porefessnional is amazing stuff. Wearing my EA Citysmart one today - I love that it has some good SPF in it and it's winter so I don't worry about adding anything else with more SPF when I wear it in this season. Love the way it keeps my make-up looking 'just done' all day long.

Great list! Of these, I have tried Benefit Porefessional (awesome primer), Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizer Skin Refinisher (I used it as a serum all over my face, it is an amazing product) & Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser (hated this one as it broke me out badly, I like the Biore Baking Soda cleanser instead)
