hi everyone!! i just wanted to do an update on how the Nivia cleansing gel has been for me… ive been using it religiously for a few weeks now, but im just not sure if im totally loving it:(
sorry to say, but the smell, although it has that traditional, soapy kind of smell that alot of nivia products have, its just to strong for me, especially for early morning (i prefer a fruity smell), the packaging is nice, but dosent make it stand out…

here’s what i do like, its removing all my excess oil and leaving my skin ready for make up in the mornings.. i did feel my skin was a bit tight for a while during the fist week or so but my skin adjusted quickly, then after a long day it removes alot, but not all of my make up ( but i wasnt expecting it to)… overall, im still contemplating on whether or not i would actually purchase it though….
ps.. ive been trying to do my review, but i cant find it in the product list?? am i missing it or is it not listed??

im pretty happy with it so far, i do agree that the smell is a bit strong, and it would be nice if it foamed up, but putting that aside, its cleansing well, leaving my skin nice and fresh, and my skin dosent feel dried out afterward;)

Afraid I’m on the negative side of this one, lack of foaming and sunscreen smell brings it down. That said I still found it cleansed quite well and felt fresh after, but wouldn’t make me buy it.

Hmmm, mixed bag so far ladies!

I have to say I quite like it so far – and because it is a boy-friendly scent my husband likes it too 🙂 Agree about the packaging though, a pump would be better, but it does cleanse quite well and my oily skin seems to like it thus far!

My biggest thing is that because it’s runny often too much cleanser comes out and i try to be careful but its still too much.. I would say its ok so far but i’ll wait until i have used it longer..

I find it has a mens aftershave type smell. i used it again this morning but i am not loving it at all. i am not getting that squeaky clean feeling. the gel doesnt foam up so i feel like its not getting in deep enough to get everything out. and as everyone else said, the gel just sprays out when you open the lid.
I find that a cream cleanser works best for me, so its possibly a product better suited to someone else.
ill write up my review over the weekend when i have some more time
