Shop A Docket?

I was wondering if any of you girls pay attention to the deals on the back of your Supermarket dockets? Usually I don’t but today I noticed that there’s a lot more health & beauty offers.

I’m considering getting a $99 deal where I get a consultation, shampoo, cut, blow dry and hair treatment done at an organic hair salon.

Usually I don’t bother with my hair but I really need a hair cut and get some style going. I googled the place and they got pretty good reviews (and they’re apparently great at cutting hair). So what do you girls think? Any Positive/Negative experiences with places that advertise through Shop A Docket?

And they have a search feature on their site for your post code which is pretty cool. http://www.shopadocket.com.au

I’ve used one of their beauty offers in Melbourne and had a good experience….I use the shopadockets a bit and I’ve never had a bad one. Good Luck with your hair!

I guess it all really depends on the merchants themselves rather than the coupon sites. I’ve been happy with some offers & not so thrilled with others.

Some offers state their restrictions up front, which I’m fine with. It’s the ones that, when you call up, go, ‘Oh, that’s only for certain days only’ or something like that. Now, THAT’S when it starts getting annoying.

A friend of mine went for a manicure and a massage offer, and she said, ‘Never again!’ because of their lacklustre service.

That’s good to hear that their deals seem to be trustworthy. I remember reading a forum about those coupon sites and the horror stories turned me off of ever looking at them!

The shop-a-docket I have is valid until October 24th but i’ll probably make a booking in the next couple of days for next week (hopefully) or the week after. I read some reviews and they’re meant to be really good with frizzy hair (my main problem) so fingers crossed. I never really go out for any pampering but that’s too good to pass up. When I get it done i’ll give an update for anyone else considering shop-a-docket deals.

I think I used one years ago, it was for a carpet shampooing deal and if I remember correctly I was happy with it. I usually do look on the back but it’s not very often I find anything I need at the time. That deal sounds really good though Missteaaddict, $99 for all that is excellent value. I think you should try it.
