Delivery price increase – Priceline online orders

Hi ladies, since we are all big Priceline fans, I thought you might want to know they have recently increased their delivery price for online orders.

This is from their website:
Please note that the cost of shipping an order placed with Priceline has changed.
Effective September 1st, 2014, delivery costs are:
– Standard delivery is $9.95, and
– Express delivery is $14.95 (this option may not be available for Dangerous Goods, i.e. flammable products)
The delivery costs are flat rate regardless of volume, weight or destination. If the total cost of your order is over $100, delivery is free (standard delivery only).

The standard delivery cost used to be $5.95.

Would this stop you from ordering online via Priceline?

I used to buy online quite often (especially for GWPs) because my local Priceline store doesn’t stock many brands I like. But now I probably won’t order online as often.

I only ever order online from Priceline if I’m feeling incredibly lazy. $10 shipping fee is outrageous. I also hate the fact that you have to order over $100 in order to get free shipping. Who even spends that much at once?

Unfortunately the reason you can’t find the Essence ones is that they have been discontinued :-(. I saw it on their FaceBook page a few weeks ago so I went and bought all of the remaining bottles at my local Priceleine and Target – 12 of them! We use them at work to quickly dry our patients toenails and it is brilliant. Cheap and effective. Hope they will re- release it in the future. If you come across any in your travels definitely pick some up xx

Oh, please say it isn’t so!!! I’ve been near quite a few different Pricelines the past couple of weeks and if I’d known I’d have checked all of them for remaining stock. That’s my mission for next week then. So disappointed 🙁

I just LOVE these forums with the wealth of information that is shared!

The priceline I rang up only had one bottle left, but I can’t get there until Tuesday, so will take my chances. This ‘essence’ one sounds great and *maydayismyday* if you truly want to stock up on the Essence one, it is still available on line at Priceline at only $2.50 (saving $1.00 and it does say LAST CHANCE!). I typed in a quantity of 10 and it must have this many left, so tried 30 (still good) then 50 – Oops they only have 32 left!
If you are desperate to get some, stock up, with 10 costing only $25 and the $10 you save will cover the $9.95 postage !hit!

Thanks Kassalee! I ducked out this morning and managed to pick up the last two bottles at my local Priceline and then another six bottles at the Target close by. I’ll be near another centre with a Priceline & Target on Wednesday so I’ll be looking there as well. If they don’t, I may pick up some more from Priceline online (if they still have any!) but will probably have enough to last a while. I just hope they’re repackaging it or something as I can’t believe they’ve discontinued it 🙁

$9.95 is outrageous! I looked today at ordering Sally Hansen Dry & Go Drops as I cannot buy them at any Priceline store and I’ve tried 4 within 20 mins drive of my home. There is not even a spot for them and all 3 have the same Sally Hansen stand – so why are they only available on line?

Seeing they are 30% off at the moment – was $14.95, now $10.46, I wouldn’t mind paying $5.95 in postage costs, but $9.95? Forget it!

Try Chemist Wearhouse *Kassalee*. I got some there about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the tip Rose_P but unfortunately my closest Chemist Warehouse isn’t as close as all my Priceline stores!
The priceline I phoned (driving to 3 was enough for me) did tell me of another product ‘Essence nail art express dry drops’ and they had one left. Checked my local priceline today for that product (they didn’t stock Essence as only a small store) but they put me onto Revitanail instant dry drops so I picked those up instead.

A bit dearer at $14.99 (but cheaper than the $20 to have the SH ones delivered) and I used my $5 off voucher for October, because of course I spent more than $35, so I figure it brings it down to $9.99!

The bh reviews on the Revitanail are a bit mixed, but overall it gets 4/5 stars.

Hi Kassalee, I know you couldn’t get hold of the Essence quick dry drops but I can vouch for their effectiveness. They work well and so much cheaper than most other brands. I wish I had seen this post earlier because I could have mentioned that Target stores also sell Essence products 🙁
I hope the Revitanail drops work well for you.

Just chiming in to agree that the Essence drops are really, really good and so cheap! I always try to have a couple of backups on hand.

I haven’t tried the Revitanail or Essence ones. I do like the Sally Hansen ones though. I still reckon the very best is the OPI Rapid Dry spray. It’s not the cheapest, but it lasts for ages and it’s soooooo good.
